Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Scotts Hub is a nice restaurant in the middle of a beautiful area. Short drive from the main highway and you won't be disappointed. The snapper special and the vegetable tagine were delicious. There are several vegetarian options on the menu. Service was great. On...Saturday night there was a $10 cover charge for live music. The singer/guitar player was very good and with the doors open for the ocean breeze it made for a nice atmosphere. Don't forget to have the Persian Love Cake for dessert.More

Called in for coffee and cake as looked inviting. Guy serving had the personality of a brick wall but the young waitress was very pleasant. Coffee was OK but took an age to arrive. Jam drop biscuit was stodgy and unappetising.

Wonderful little cafe with relaxed holiday atmosphere and friendly attentive staff. Not often can you order 3 courses and love every one. The fish cake entree, the lamb and hummus main, the lentil and mushroom curry, the salted caramel pot dessert and the mango semifreddo...dessert all amazing. Cant wait to come back and try more of this delicious menu.More

We got a hot chocolate that came out with a dead fly in it when we sent it back it took 8 minutes for the next one to come out and when it arrived it was that hot you couldn’t even touch it. The kids...meal came out on sourdough after I asked for it to be on Turkish. The girls weren’t very accommodating when we sent it back. All in all probably won’t be giving this place a second chance.More

Scotts Head Hub is an excellent café with a lovely, friendly feeling to it. I go there frequently and could recommend all dishes. Lovey Garden and share trolly to swap fresh produce around the side. Service is great, food and drinks are delicious, and the...position is perfect, I can definitely recommend it!More

My cafe of choice in Scott's head. I visited nearly every day of my holiday for excellent morning coffee and home made cakes and snacks in a relaxed atmosphere. Either indoor or Al Fresco dining with a view overlooking a beachside park. Friendly service and...reasonable prices.More

Due to Covid 19 I did extensive research into restaurants and cafes in Scott’s Head. I can’t believe how on point my decision was. I called the cafe prior to booking and talked with the owner. We did a quick drop by a few days...before to check our bookings and social distancing. Very pleased to advise that the cafe complies in every way. We arrived 10 mins prior to booking as we are always prompt. In these days u need to arrive on Time. The hosts gave us a seat outside until the other patrons left. Very happy with the request to sit outside. They are doing their best in trying circumstances. The food was amazing. I had Seared Salmon, celeriac purée, pistachio nuts, broccoli, salmon was succulent, skin crispy. Nachos was very filling and delicious. Chicken masala curry was big portion with rice and roti. Very tasty. Crepe brûlée’s was silky and top crispy. Yum. Prices were on par with good quality cafe meals or restaurant quality. This is good food made with care. Drinks were great. Guys had boutique bears from Byron. Wine Sav Blanc from SA Wicks Estate. Loved that they promoted Australian produce. Very attentive service. They apologised about the wait but with seatings u can’t help that. Please give the business leeway when this happens. Highly recommended. Going back tomorrow night.More

Good coffee but they ran out of decaf coffee. The others who had their coffee really enjoyed them. The nachos and muffin were lovely.

We ate here a number of times during our stay in Scotts Head. Each meal - breakfast, dinner and Mexican night, was tasty and reasonably priced. I like that they also promoted local businesses (beer, cider). Service was always prompt and friendly. A great find...in a small town.More

Had an amazing lunch (stuffed sweet potato). Beautiful combination of flavours, the walnuts and tomato salsa were just divine with it. Could have done with a little bit more topping, as the potato was quite large. Good portion size and great presentation. Heaps of vegan...options, drinks looked amazing, especially the raspberry soda. There is a range of hot sauces on offer with your food. Emphasis is on zero waste. They don’t use disposable coffee cups. They sell zero-waste alternatives and local products. Staff was very friendly and the interior and outside seating area is beautiful and cosy. Will 100% come back here next time I am in town.More
