This pub serves consistently good quality food, Sunday lunch is excellent with locally sorced meat and lovely fresh veg. Evening meals are equally good with a lovely cozy atmosphere. This is a horse racing pub with lots of memorabillia and staff from local stables drinking in the bar. The landlady, Beckie, runs a tight ship and the staff are hardworking... More

Came recommended by host of local B & B, and was a good choice. Friendly, horsey locals. Drove so didn't sample the local ale.

We highly recommend this pub for its great location, atmosphere, local ales, good service and great food. I have been visiting this pub now for 30+ years and never disappointed. Highly recommend Cotswold pub.

We stayed at the Plough for a couple of nights and ate in the restaurant on two of the nights. The food was excellent, plentiful and well presented. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the atmosphere warm and cosy.

Much thought has been put into the menu here and because of this, the food is of a very high standard. We had a table of around ten people, each with different meals - not one person didn't enjoy it. Also, the service was excellent with the staff being neither under or over attentive. The pub is very cozy and... More

We visited the Plough after a Cotswold walk with friends. This is a lovely Cotswold pub which is very popular. It was a bank holiday when we attended and so was very busy but the service and food was excellent. We liked the fact that each table had a bottle of water provided without the need to ask, a very nice touch.... A very cosy and traditional pub with a great menu. Staff are really helpful and the food is good. We had lunch, breakfast and dinner there over a period of three days and were not disappointed.

This is a very picturesque pub set full square in the Cotswold's. Depending on the weather, this popular foodie pub is much to small and very cramped. If you get a table? The food is excellent the over large portions are off putting for some. If it is a warm dry day, the the room out side is marvelous. One... More
