The only major complaint is that one of our group order the special, a pasta in a special sauce with shrimp. Unfortunately the shrimp had not not been placed in the pasta. After arising the server she did supply a small dish of cooked shrimp with their tails still attached.

I see so many outstanding reviews, I almost feel bad saying anything negative. So, let me start with it wasn't that I disliked my food, it was more that I expected more. We were a party of 8, most ordered Prime Rib and seemed to like it. I ordered Lamb. I asked for med rare and it was med. I... More

This place feels like 'home'. Staff treat everyone politely and do their best to help with choices. Food has NEVER been disappointing - in fact, we were amazed at quality and helpings for the price. I'd be shocked if they've ever had a complaint...

Davidson's is a long time family favourite! When I was planning a birthday dinner for my friend I decided to take her here for something different and delicious! The decor is rustic and full of country charm. The food is wonderful - I recommend the puff potato and one of the homemade pies for dessert. I'd suggest calling for reservations... More

We enjoyed a late lunch here. The place was quiet but the server was friendly and made us feel right at home. We ate three different apps on toast - bruschetta, mushroom crostini, and one more I'm forgetting - all were delicious but by the time our meals came everyone was a little stuffed. That said, the beef yorkie and... More

This was my first visit to this quaint restaurant but my family has been going there since before it was Davidson's. Location is great and can even be accessed by boat and a 10 minute walk. An adorable little house nestled in a small garden that gives it a cozy cottage feel with an outdoor patio that seems to have... More

Went there for Sunday lunch, had an excellent stuffed Yorkshire Pudding. My friends had fish and chips, which they told me weren't very good. Long wait for the food , since restaurant was empty, our sever was pleasant enough.
