Massive disappointment. This place used to be a monument to French cuisine. Now it's just a monument to the old guy's over-inflated ego. Just about the only thing which doesn't have PB initialled on it is the loo paper. The menu hasn't changed since the 1970's nor has the decor. We had the Menu Grande Tradition Classique. Truffle soup to... More

This was more of a visit to the museum than a restaurant. It is a must if you like fine dining and like to experience different cuisines. Exceptional and very friendly service. Great food. Yes, expensive but worth it. We had the classic menu. Great dishes and lots of food. Cheese and desert trays were fantastic at the end.

We specially went there to see the king of kitchens. Chef of the chefs for what he did. Of course this is historic restaurant, elegant and classic with a lot of fat food.French. It's so beautiful to get back in time when Poul Bocuse revolutionized culinary world. The grand finale with dessert table crushed us down.

Go to Lyon. Go visit Paul Bocuse. Do not mind what it costs - it is worth it! A one in a lifetime experience! And remember some of the best Norvegian chefs have done their schooling there.

The place is a monument to French cuisine and its most famous chef. You'll find his name plastered on everything in the restaurant, just to remind you that you are eating in the temple of French food. The food is extraordinary as can be expected. Bocuse doesn't cook anymore, but he lives upstairs and still comes down twice a day... More

Although my wife and I aren't particularly wealthy and don't visit a ton of Michelin 3-star restaurants, we just love food so this was a treat for us. We can both confidently say that we've never had a better meal in our lives. This is classic French comfort food at it's best. I don't even know why this restaurant is... More

Sometimes you go to a famous place and reality is below you expectations, here you get really what you expect)) Very traditional place with classy provincial decoration with a touch of kitch which is really nice. Food is unquestionably excellent, creative and classic but at any rate excellent! Service is formal efficient and friendly ... Really the place deserved to... More

I felt hesitant about going after having read some negative reviews but I'm glad we went. Our expectation was that we'd experience old school French cuisine, done the way it's been done for a very long time according to Paul Bocuse's vision, and that's what we got. I bet if we'd dined here in the 1970s we'd have had the... More

For a restaurant with Michelin 3 star, I don't feel it's up to par. They are simply retaining the status without much improvement. I have been to many Michelin 3 star but this was a huge blow to me. The Truffle VGE soup was very oily, it made me sick after. Paying €85 for that soup made me feel like... More
