A great friendly local pub. The staff are very welcoming and the atmosphere rural. The deer is very well kept and the food great. Very comfortable accommodation, but Book well in advance as alway very busy. Can’t wait to return next week.

Had a great Sunday lunch here. Starters of chicken liver pate and fish parfait, followed by roast pork, beef and a huge plate of vegetables with lashings of gravy. Great value. Lovely beer....followed by a Sunday nap . Bliss
