I have reviewed this place before and not been too enthusiastic but tried it again with friends. The food is poor and unimaginative - even the baguette was dry with just a little grated cheese and a smear of chutney. There appears to be no...More

Very disappointed, after previously having an enjoyable time here. Table booked for 7.0p.m. Food was chased up twice at the bar due to long waits. Last meal (mine)served at nearly 9.0p.m., well after all others in the party had theirs. Table was then cleared apart...More

We went for a spontaneous dirnk the other night and was lovely and chilled in their garden. However a Whitstable Bay Beer and a Prosecco will set you back £10.40!!!

Would you like to come back and talk to me about why you think my attitude was poor as the lady with you was being very dramatic and very rude towards my staff and myself I like to say you have not decided to tell everyone that we were all mortified by this mistake and I refunded you and appoligised on several occasions and offered you anything else you wanted for free and the three others that came to eat with you clearly enjoyed there chicken burger and two more gate burgers and two buckets of nogging as even the salad garnish were eaten . The man that came to the till to pay appoligised to me and the waitress for the way you and the lady with you were behaving shouting across a full bar with several other families enjoying there visit and the food is no way for people of an older generation to act he looked quite embarrassed paied and even left a small tip
