Great tearooms, lovely homemade food. We enjoyed the place, the service and the food. It is nice to visit a traditional tearoom that has stood the test of time. 😊

We have been several times before and the food was excellent as always but the service was very slow - 30 minutes to get a baguette. Yes they were busy but our drinks didn't come until the food was served and when we asked for...sugar, she said she would get it and disappeared!More

Delightful tea shop in lovely setting. Tea and sandwiches were delicious and ample, especially the egg and bacon. Looking forward to returning

What a find! The best scones with clotted cream I have tasted. I only wanted a coffee but glad I sampled these. Hard luck Devon!

We really enjoyed our visit today. The cream tea was amazing. Delicious scones with generous jam and cream. Coffee was good and lovely homemade cake. Next time we will come for lunch the jacket potatoes looked very tasty. Staff were very friendly and efficient. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Amazing cream scones, nice fresh and fluffy. Love going to this place. Proper comfort food. I'm lucky enough to live close by so it's always a good visit when I go into Chilham. Defo reccomend.

This is the third time during the past 5 years I’ve visited here. Unfortunately I am afraid to say this is a big disappointment. Service was as always very slow. One person working. My wife had to get up and asked to be served. The...room smelled stale, cooking smells from the kitchen, like fried food or something similar. The seats are uncomfortable and too many packed in to two rooms. Don’t get me wrong, it is a business and get that they want to maximise this but at what cost? The room we sat in needed decorating and added to this, three blue bottle flies were buzzing about. Nice!! This winter, if you close, get the decorating sorted, new flooring, carpets are no good when you are serving food. They trap smells. On the plus side, the cream tea was very nice. Shame really because the only other tea room near is in Challock which is worse so you should be flying the flag is the cream tea wars around that little pocket.More

This small tea rooms is situated at the top of the hill leading to Chilham Square. Although it is good on a fine Summer's day to sit outside there is limited seating and you have to be aware of cars travelling to the Square which...almost touch the people sitting outside. Also, be very wary of the plagues of wasps all vying for your cream scones and jam! Inside, again, very limited seating. However, the fare is excellent if you can put up with the above problems.More

We ordered a full cream tea. Sandwiches were small with scant filling, though they tasted alright. Scones ok, not great. Cakes were dry - either overcooked or a couple of days old. Tea was good.
