Best I start the review by stating that being the General Manager of an attraction subject to Trip Advisor reviews, I will only review when the experience was genuinely "excellent" and I can provide an "excellent" review. Anything less and I certainly would not do so publicly. On this basis I am able to review 2 great meals at the... More

Bit disappointed with our lunch here. The food was average pub grub, the menu nothing like the one advertised on their web site, and choice limited. Have had better here on previous visits.

On one of our frequent visits to West Runton,we make a point of eating quite a few times at the Village Pub.It can get a little crowded- due to its good grub and service-but our small dog is allowed in alongside many others,a bonus when you're caravanning. Will keep going back as long as the welcome is there!

We were camping locally so could walk here along the beach, with dogs, in about 40 minutes. Really pretty pub & garden, good local ales too. We ate here twice, I enjoyed a really well cooked Sunday roast with lovely, crunchy veg, which is a rare treat! The steak & ale pie, crab gratin, whitebait & haddock smokie were all... More

Very pleasant interior with masses of outdoor areas but there was a chilly biting wind, too cold for an 'alfresco' lunch. Service was good, good choice of beers. One of my party is a vegetarian, she had a bean burger salad and was quite satisfied. My sister had one of the many fresh crab dishes on offer and was also... More

Stopped here after a dog walk to the beach whilst camping nearby. Surreal site of a beer garden full of dogs of every shape size and breed left us in no doubt our dogs were very welcome. Lovely to see people able to relax with their four legged friends. We ordered Sunday lunch which was delicious- both the meat and... More

My family and I (2 kids) really enjoyed our lunch at The Village Inn. The pub offers traditional and fresh pub food which we really enjoyed. We had baguettes, a steak and ale pie and fish fingers for the kids. Very tasty, not gastro pub style, just good old fashioned, simple good food.

A dog friendly basic pub in the village of West Runton. Bit of a mish mash, cross between a pub, a cafe and a restaurant. Ok to stop for a drink.
