Great menu. Our lunch was very quickly prepared and tasted excellent. The Ploughman's was huge, and the pulled pork chiabata & chips was lovely too.

Dropped in last weekend for breakfast meet up, good parking, friendly staff, good food and ambience. Popular too - watch out for the cows walking down the street!

Lovely charming farmhouse with inglenooks and crannies. We had a basic lunch of 3x jacket potatos and 1x beans on toast. Staff struggled to get a simple order right and the food when it arrived was disappointing. Very unrealistic prices for unimpressive food with poor service - won't be returning.

Lovely dog friendly tea room. Ample parking. Nice, friendly staff and the traditional tea and scones was delicious.

Wow I had the best chocolate/pecan nut cake ever, my friend had the butterscotch cake and thought that was delicious, another friend needs gluten free food, and they were able to offer (she said) delicious scone. Great size pot of tea. Definitely recommended

We sat down at 13:45, delighted to see that the complete menu was in operation up until 15:00 and we were not going to be rushed. Both o=of us decided on the home-made beef lasagna, Jerry had chips and salad with his (some of which I pinched) nd I had it with salad and garlic ciabatta (which I halved with... More

Fabulous building, friendly staff but the coffee (latte) was so weak I almost went in to ask for a shot of coffee in my warm milk. (But i was too British to do so). The cake(butterscotch) was dense and stodgy and did not have much flavour.

This is a roadside cafe/restaurant. Staff are friendly and invested in the job. The old beams and small rooms give the place added atmosphere, and there are lots of nooks and crannies in which to sit. Fantastic range of options for lunch or just for coffeee and cakes. Chocolate and pecan flapjack strongly recommended.

Nice setting in village. Good menu. Lovely gluten free Lemon Drizzle cake. 'Foresters tea' is good value for an afternoon tea.

Thank Laura C
