We booked 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed sampling the food from the various menus. Produce is supplied by very local farms and plenty of choice. Many locals enjoy using the pub for food and drink so you need to phone and book a table as busy even off season Enjoyed the sloe gin so much we bought a couple of... More

On a short trip from Norfolk to Rutland we decided to stay at the Kings Arms in Wing for two nights with breakfast & evening meals. The room was very good, tidy, clean etc etc. Very comfortable bed. Both breakfast & evening meals superb. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. We will stay here again in the future.

The building is lovely, the food is excellent but when we visited with two active children the staff were terse and uncooperative, and we were very much under the impression that unless the children were 'seen and not heard' they didn't want them there. Sad, because the food is gorgeous.

Many thanks for taking the time to write a review of your experience with us. All of us here are glad that you enjoyed your meal and as a new father myself would not want to seem discouraging to family's with children, it is why we have a menu solely dedicated to children available all the time. We always believe... More

Just returned from a 2 night break & felt compelled to write a glowing review about the Kings Arms. We received a warm welcome from a very knowledgable, friendly & helpful Michelle on arrival and nothing was too much trouble throughout our stay. If you love fantastic home made food cooked to exceptionally high standard which is locally sourced with... More

Make a point of coming here when staying in the area now. Been here for third year. The home smoked meats are superb and best sampled by ordering the platter on the starters. They are also very obliging as I wanted to try their smoked short ribs as a starter which came as part of a main and they obliged.... More

Thanks for taking the time for leaving your review. Its always nice for the team to get positive feedback. We would love to see you in the winter, the pub really does come into it's own over the winter season. The big fire is quite a show stopper on a cold winters day. A haven for dog walkers, hikers, nature... More

A lovely pub to drop by on a dog walk , for example, for a drink and snack[ goodies for dogs behind the bar- great idea!] . However, our meal on a Saturday evening was really only very average.Although we had booked a table we were waiting way past the arranged time and resorted to asking if we could possibly... More

We booked a table for four, we were immediately shown to our table a drinks order taken and the menu and specials explained. The food and service were all first class. This is a perfect example of what a village food led pub should be. A busy bar, great quality restaurant of environment and food, both formal and casual atmosphere... More

Ever since we have been staying at Wing Hall Campsite, we have walked down for a drink or two at The Kings Arms. The staff are always welcoming and they have a variety of drinks to suit the whole families palate. We know that they are often booked for dining but we managed to book a table on the Saturday...
