If you come to the Isle of Man and you're craving your fish, chips and mushy peas, you've got to visit Port Jack Chippy. The fish is so fresh and expertly cooked. The diner is clean with great views of the bay. Staff are friendly and helpful. Top chippy.

Lovely fish not dried out. Very good mushy peas. Chips could have been in the fryer for a little longer but otherwise tasty. No pickled gherkins which is terrible😥 Worth a visit.

Just round the corner from our house so it's handy. The food is good and the staff are friendly. They have an eat in as well as takeaway.

Always get great chips and fish from this establishment 👍🏻. The diner is handy and spotlessly clean. Great views of Douglas Bay from the windows.

Called in after a choppy sail across the Irish Sea. Needed some good fish and chips and we got them. Very organised, plenty of staff on on a busy Friday teatime. Would definitely go back.

This place is a brilliant, old fashioned chippy. The fish is really fresh, the batter crisp and everything is cooked once ordered - they don't have pre-cooked fish sitting there drying out like lots of English fish and chips places - you may have to wait a little longer but it is well worth the wait. Lovely staff and good... More

Whilst visiting the IOM I needed to rekindle my childhood memories of fish and chips for dinner. I was staying nearby and one night I stopped in to pick up my treat and treat it was. Well cooked, good batter and great chips with lots of vinegar and salt, yummy. Next time I'm on the Island I shall have another... More

As a regular visitor to IOM I always make sure I have a visit to Port Jack chippy. Always quick service food is always up to a high standard staff are always pleasant. Great competition on the island in the food business but this place is at the top of its game very consistent well worth a visit.

This was quite empty in January but there was a deal for two fish and chip meals. We asked for the chips to be we'll done and they were! Huge portion which I should have stopped eating but enjoyed it too much. Nice service. Of course you have to get your own knife and fork etc but it is a... More
