Ate several meals here (breakfast, lunch, dinner) in July 2016 on my first ever visit to Belize. Food was tasty and met my vegetarian requirements. I liked the atmosphere.

Our cruise excursion took us to lunch here - I had read many reviews and felt remotely safe w/ this... but not safe enough to eat my whole meal including the coleslaw which I wasn't sure was cool enough to serve. I read that the food here was good from other people's excursion reviews. Yes it was good except for... More

A very good restaurant. Very diverse menu. There were 8 of us and nobody left hungry. I think everybody tried something different, and no one was disappointed.

A nice place for locals that has changed little since I started coming for the last 10 years. It has expanded, but kept the feel. It is the only restaurant I know that regularly serves gibnut. Although I would recommend calling in advance to see if they have it available. While they do serve some dishes that are not Belizean,... More

We went here during our trek to the ruins and were not disappointed! Our large group ordered nearly one of everything on the menu and we shared a lot so had many samples of different dishes all around. Really a gem! Highly recommend!

A busy restaurant as it caters for tour groups as well as locals. We went there for Sunday lunch so maybe it was especially busy. The staff coped in an unflustered manner so we didn't mind a bit of a wait. The food was good- we had deer casserole- recommended!

Great local food, nice variety of choices. Service is always slow. Place is pretty clean. Employees are friendly. Good food for a good price!

The staff at the eco lodge we stayed at recommended Benny's after our trip to the Mayan ruin of Xunantunich. This was the most enjoyable meal of our trip. Don't be turned off or distracted by the tourist vans. Locals crowded the outdoor tables just the same. The food selection, flavors and authenticity were amazing! They were busy on a... More

We were taken here by a Cahal Pech/Xunantunich tour guide, Peter, because we told him that we wanted real Belizean food. We could not have been happier with his choice. The food was excellent with good-sized portions - and it is organic. My husband had pibil - pork roasted underground - and I had a chicken entree. Both were delicious.... More

A little off the main road, but it felt like where and what the locals were eating. Hope we get to return!
