We went 3 times to eat at Paolo's place. Two times for pizza and one time for tpreparing our own food. The pizza is nice, but what make this place outstanding is Paolo and his team. They are friendly, helpful and always in for a...good story or laugh. There is no alcohol, but you can bring your own and even store it in their fridge. We enjoyed a lot.More

Fun setting, enormous thin crust pizzas of all types. An unexpected find! Located on the way to/from El Morro.

It's definitely not the best pizza. I went there with my boyfriend. I thought we had made the best choice because of the reviews on the internet, but it's the worst choice I ever made. The pizza dough was not fresh made and it's tasted...like a tea biscuit. Next time i will buy my pizza at the supermarket Albert hijen. I gave my pizza away to a homeless guy.More

Highly recommended for a family dinner. I went there with a group of 13 people and were easily accommodated. There is a lot of variety in the menu, and must say different and creative combinations. Prices are more than fair and the service is quick....Pizza looked and tasted really good.More

Paolo, his son and the staff welcomed us with big smiles and after taking our order, quickly escorted the kids to see newborn kittens, which distracted them from the handmade, great, fresh pizza, which they complained did not look like Pizza Hut. Thank God it...did not. It was delicious. Make sure you try the fresh/crush tomato one.More

If you're in Monte Cristi, this place is worth the stop. It's a small, locally owned spot by the shore with plastic tables and chairs, but you can get a good, 8-slice pizza for about $7-$10, depending on toppings. Paolo is almost always around, making...the pizzas himself. The crust is light and crispy, which seems to make it easier to eat more than you normally would. Try the pepperoni- it's shredded pepperoni, so a little different than american-style.More

Paolo's pizza is by far the best pizza I ate during my time living in the DR. Paolo himself is a charming, friendly, and endearing character hailing from Italy and his woodfired pizzas are delicious! The crust is thin with a perfect mixture of softness...and crispiness, the toppings are fresh, and the atmosphere at his newest location is lovely. I recommend the hot sauce too! Definitely give this place a visit!More

We were expecting a little more when we saw the ratings for this place. Pizzas are very simple with few ingredients, and nothing to jump through the roof for. It's is also very overprised, considering how cheap you can buy food other places in this...city. One pizza cost 400-600 pesos, and 2 pizzas are more than enough for 3 people. NB! They don't serve alcoholic beverages, but you are allowed to bring. Or you can buy next door at CocoMar Restaurant 125 pesos for a big Presidente.More
