Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Come here to experience the real Parma food and hospitality. Menu is explained by the owners at the table and you simply cannot refrain from wanting to try the most of it. We opted for the starters (the best spalla and salame of the week-end)...and then the primi (brodo di cappone) and the desserts and we were fully satisfied. Wine by the glass is actually by the bottle and portions are abundant. One quick note: sort out the bathrooms facilities!More

Lovely surrounding, quiet area, almost difficult to find, but once you are in: just great. Service perfect, friendly without invading, charming without "you don't know who I am". Wonderful food, from tagliatelle to ravioli, from tasty Parmesan - small or big bites to local salami...and of course the real, wonderful and simply unique Parma ham! What else to add? If you happen to be in the area, don't miss it, you would be sad for many years to come. Enjoy itMore

Starters, the high quality prosciutto, salami with torta fritta, parmigiano cheese and other regional specialty. The principals are as a home made mama's meal, as same to desserts. The place for is always full, must reserve.

This restaurant is amazing! Real sense of authentic food. Once you sit down you get a delicious small appetizer with parmigiano reggiano cheese ( as we are in the region where it’s produced) that you cut on your own and small delicious “crescentine” ( also...typical dish, bread dough fried and served warm)…all this accompanied by a glass of extra dry prosecco, Metodo prosecco. The owner, Antonio, declaims all the plates in a theatrical way with great enthusiasm and it’s nice that after pronouncing them he leaves you a while to discuss and decide ..a sensitivity many other places miss starring at you expecting a quick decision….. We were sure about focusing on the first courses but the choice was wide….when Antonio came back we asked him a suggestion and he solved the doubt offering us a tasting of 3 different plates to share, that was great! We had pumpkin ravioli in which I could finally feel well the pumpkin taste, red radicchio ravioli with a sauce of parmesan cheese and red vinegar and last but not least a typical dish called “bomba di riso”…rice bomb. This was something amazing, risotto baked in oven with a covering of butter and bread crumbs with a pigeon stuffing….we had to share but I could have eaten few of those! Antonio explained us it was an ancient typical recipe of that region and 3 cooks serve to prepare it well. During the first courses we drank a half liter bottle of Amarone di Valpolicella by Lamberti, wonderful. Our pleasant meal finished with a mix of desserts and a glass of passito but we stopped the arrivals after few cakes tasting as it would have been too much…all delicious. So …if you visit Parma or Reggio Emilia you can’t miss this place, if you meet Antonio say hello from Top Italy Experience.More

Hospitality and passion in a truly Italian sense. I asked for a glass of Lambrusco and a bottle was on my table. "I'll take the bottle when I need it" the host told me with a smile. Food was excellent with handmade pasta with duck...ragout which deserved a standing ovation and a hug to the chef. You can breath owner's passion for excellence which is reflected in an elegant but casual environment.More

They start by bringing you some appetizers, best Ham and salami, leaving often the whole pieces there for you to pick from. Then a wide selection of pastas to choose from, everything home made, with a choice of wines by the glass (but they leave...the bottle anyway) and wonderful desserts. Price: worth the quality and more!More

This was the finest food and best service I've experienced in a long, long time, and that comes after nearly three decades of traveling the world on business. Food was excellent--"pillows" hot and beautifully cooked, antipasta wonderful with many different dishes, pasta course excellent, second...course the same. Light but delicious desserts. Staff speaks virtually no English, but tried very hard, and successfully, to explain options and help with choices. The price--at least to us Americans--was astonishingly reasonable. Olive oil was the best I've ever had, and wine excellent. My wife's lamb was a bit too thin but tasty, my beef filet perfectly sized and cooked. It was so difficult to find--small road to right of very large abandoned hangar-like building--that we nearly gave up, but didn't, and glad we didn't.More
