We stopped for lunch here after our exploration of Burano. As non-seafood eaters, we were both a little embarrassed about only ordering salads and plain pasta, but we were treated with nothing but politeness. The mixed salads were fresh and very good, as well as the pasta. I had the linguine al pomodoro, my partner got the tagliatelle al ragù, and both dishes were clearly made with love and passion. We will definitely go back on our next visit. Thank you so much for a lovely ending to a wonderful day trip.

The place I had heard about and was bound for was fully booked which surprised me so I wandered around and found this small family run restaurant and I'm sure glad I did! I started with a glass of a spectacular white wine from a bottle they opened for me and the little garlic croutons they put on the table. I had some terrific stuffed zucchini flowers and a wonderful grilled bronzini for my main meal with a few extra glasses of the Friuli wine of course. Service is efficient and friendly and the prices are what you expect on Burano. The rest of the menu is small but nicely balanced. You won't go wrong here.

A small and sweet restaurant on Burano island. The food was better than I expected. I ordered ravioli with cod and it was served with zucchini and tomato. A nice citrus flavor. The white wine paired the fish ravioli well. The service was fast but friendly. If you wish to pay by card, you must pay inside the restaurant. The restaurant didn’t kick us out the moment it was time to close. The toilet was clean. This experience made me really happy. Almost all of the restaurants are next to each other on Burano (on the border of the “main channel”) but it was still calm to eat outside.

Just ordinary food, not many options and VERY PRICEY. It was just me, € 36,00 for 1/2liter wine of the house, a callamari frittata and a tiramissu. It was the most expensive place I have been in this trip including Rome and the food was just acceptable (actually, the frittata was very salty). Good point: the waitress was lovely and helpful. Still, I recommend you go somewhere else withe better food and better prices.

I'll say straight away that the 45 euros paid per person would have been fair if the quality of the dishes had been better! Four of us had 2 appetizers, mussels off the menu, a first course and 2 fried dishes for 24 euros each. 2 bottles of water, one of prosecco wine, a dessert, 2 coffees and a bitter! We booked the table but upon arriving we discovered that there is no difference between inside (without air conditioning) and outside: first come, first serve! We order and my friends ask to remove the oyster from the starter and replace it with a scallop! Answer: you can't! I don't eat the first one and reserve it for frying. I ask if it is possible to add a piece of fried eel present off the menu to my fry! Answer: you can't! My friends told me their mixed starter was excellent! The rest is really average... shame about the rigidity of the menu which we found excessive and the environment a little too cramped (the bucket with the ice for the wine resting on the free chair at the next table)! Too touristy for my tastes… I won't return!

We stumbled upon it by chance on a rainy day. Wet and a little disappointed by the bad weather, we entered and understood the importance of a "welcoming" entrance in the sense of a physical environment that welcomes body and psyche, giving the customer pleasant sensations of calm and comfort. Upstairs we then verified the style promised at the entrance, the food was excellent, fresh and served with kind naturalness, as if we were regular customers. The psycho-physical environment is fundamental in the field of culinary art and the managers of Fureghin have understood this.

Today after a splendid walk around Burano, we stop in this cute and characteristic restaurant on two levels. A la carte menu, we choose spaghetti with clams, gnocchi with calamari and polenta with cod. Unfortunately, upon receiving the dishes, my son informed me that the gnocchi had an unpleasant taste... I therefore reported the problem to the waiter and asked for a change but with another spaghetti with clams. With great kindness and courtesy the owner/chef comes to the table and tells me that the problem was the gnocchi that a pasta factory prepares for him... Apologizing again for the mix-up. At the checkout the same owner, in addition to offering us the "wrong" dish, also offers us the second spaghetti. Great professionalism and kindness are the strength of this place. Well done

Excellent food, freshly prepared dishes, fantastic desserts, and I'm talking about the two types of tiramisu, attentive and fast service. We had a caprese, a creamed cod, a gnocchi, a mussel stew, very professional and competent guys, offered grappa and typical Burano sweets. Top

A weekend spent with friends in Venice took us to visit the island of San Francesco and then to stop in Burano. Here we had lunch with a total immersion in fish cuisine, cooked with Venetian wisdom. A very complex tasting with different fish dishes. Among these, my favorites were: sardines in saor, shellfish, tuna carpaccio, risotto, frying. We accompanied the dishes with an excellent Ribolla. The service was informal but impeccable, with the waiter always available and courteous to our every request. The bill was adequate for the place (in the middle of Burano), the food (fish), the quality of the products (excellent), the skill of the chef (excellent), the wine 8 excellent).

We stopped for lunch during our visit to Burano - it turned out to be a great choice as it is definitely not a tourist trap. Excellent food and timely service. The staff guys are very kind. I asked if there was a lactose-free dessert and it was offered to me without any problems. Advised!

Decided to give this spot a try for lunch and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent. The fried fish platter was large with various whole fried fish, calamari, shrimp and muscles. It was a great value. The tiramisu was yummy!

Lunch and a place to hide from the sun. Lively position right next to the canal, they kindly brought out extra chairs to seat all our party. Grilled sardines and a mixed salad, grilled prawns, pasta ragu all went down well, with a couple of beers.

We passed there by chance and seeing a table for 2 we entered. And here the waiter kindly makes us sit down. Small but characteristic room also equipped with outdoor tables. We tried gnocchi and grilled prawns. Both taste great. Very kind and efficient staff.

Very bad experience, absolutely a restaurant to eliminate from such a place. The terrible food is of very low quality, we had no bread and many dishes on the menu were out of stock. The waiter took a basket from a table to bring it to us. Rude and not at all professional. The dishes were brought in batches. Avoid!

Perfect lunch. We will be recalling it for years. Tiny table for two canal side with views of the charming colorful buildings. Fresh grilled scallops, clam linguini, grilled sea bass—all simply prepared and presented but the flavors shined! Highly recommend. Oh, and did I mention the tiramisu? Five star.
