The best thing we ate here was the Snapper Paste on bread it was amazing. The staff were very nice and friendly. We came as a large group and we tasted a bit of everything. Some of the food was really great and some of it wasn't that nice. It was really a hit or a miss.

Finding yourself with a bill of 60.00 euros per person for a mixed starter (not fresh), an encore of first courses (with simply unapproachable fish lasagna), bulk wine and coffee is really exaggerated and undignified for a place that should represent Burano, Venice and the whole of Italy. We were a group of Venetians and they treated us in this really disrespectful way... I dare not think of how they treat tourists! Be careful!!! I came here on June 7/24, with the tour group as an optional excursion which was a farewell dinner, this place is located in the island town of Burano which is only open in the spring during tourist season until sometime in the late fall then they close for the winter months. They work and make as much money in the meantime as they can so when they close down in winter they survive for those several months of being closed. This restaurant is a seafood place and is a very busy place and when we arrived the place had us sit along one side of the restaurant, there was more than 35 of us in the group so what they did was brought out food served us each food item in bulk, they started with a pate type food then a shrimp Risotto which was very delicious, a spaghetti but not sure what seafood was in that, a salad, there was a small piece of fish that had a sauce on it but never had any flavor even with the sauce but it still was a very fresh piece of fish, also, calamari tentacles and all, lastly a deep fried shrimp and for dessert a nut glazed bar of sorts and a s-shaped cookie, they also offered us a coffee which I had and I think I put way to much sugar in it because it was very sweet yet the best coffee I had in a long time even with the extra sugar I put in. Bad dining experience on the first day of the year. We were a table of 12 people who like every year celebrate the first day of the year in the lagoon in Burano after a nice row. We booked lunch at Raspo de Ua. The same menu for everyone consisted of a mixed appetizer and an encore of fish risotto and pie also this of fish, house wine, water and coffee. All for the modest sum of 60 euros. Not bad for a rather poor quality set menu. In the mixed fish appetizer were presented the schie with mushrooms, for some reason, and the creamed fish that perhaps wanted to be cod. We stopped by for dinner a couple of weeks ago and ordered roast chicken breast, chips and grilled vegetables. The food was served quickly and was tasty. Inside, the restaurant has display cabinets and items adorned on the walls and ceilings, all very interesting to look at. One thing we noticed whilst visiting Burano is that most the restaurants close early so we were lucky to find this little gem open. Just something worth noting if you're looking at restaurants in this area. I think this one closed at 8pm. Would recommend this restaurant. We received friendly service too.

The restaurant is nicely decorated and has quite a nice ambiance. However, the food is clearly microwaveable food. The menu even states that “some items may be frozen”. To add to this, the staff are rude. Don’t go here!

I don’t understand all of the good reviews. Visited for lunch today, was seated on a joint table with another group so had to endure their disgusting table manners. Non attentive staff, food was terrible. Lasagne was totally mushy and tasteless, bolognese was very watery - also cooked very fast, quite confident they were microwaved. The only thing faster than the cooking time was how fast it came out of my other half’s arse. The meal gave us both bad guts. 100% would not recommend.

Loved this place!, quirky bespoke interior full of charm and fantastic food. Service was excellent and tailor made. The food was outstanding and there was just too much of it, resulting in a four course lunch! You can tell that this place has been around for a while and that it is family run and run with pride!.

I ordered the spaghetti with seafood and my boyfriend got the pepperoni pizza. My spaghetti was like a side portion. but then the man next to me had ordered the same thing and his portion was more than half the size. His plate was full and the pasta was piled up mine didn’t even cover the plate there was so little. I showed the waiter and he either just didn’t understand or ignored us and walked away. Just super annoying. Maybe cause i’m a 22 year old girl and they thought to not give me as much as I may not eat it all compared to the older man but it was super annoying to see the HUGEEE different in portion, like atleast double the amount the guy next to me got it just was a crazy amount difference but we’re paying the same.
