Fresh sole and prawn spaghetti at lunch today washed down with several wickedly good Hugo’s 😍😍. The sole was cooked to perfection and slid off the bone. The prawns were substantial and full of flavour with a lovely sauce. We sinned on the meringue and a pistachio dessert which were magnificent Service was great, lovely lady server who never stopped moving Been before for a drink a few years back and def very happy to have returned

Great seafood in Burano at prices you can afford!

We were despairing of a decent lunch when we stumbled across Bar Sport which is much better than the name might suggest. Fried seafood is everywhere in Venice but theirs had a light batter and more variety of fish and the Frati rose was excellent and not too pricey! When you get off the water bus, turn left along the main canal and walk past all the tourist shops and bars, heading for the leaning Campanile. Bar Sport is in the square nearby with tables outside and very friendly staff, even for lunch at 4.00 pm when the French would tell you to p... off!

Decent fairly cheap food

Stopped in here on a very hot day in Burano and service was good and friendly. I had a prawn and asparagus pasta which was cooked well and ok, although not really to my taste. My son had a margherita pizza which looked cool as it was done in the shape of a fish, but I'm not sure he got the best out of it as he managed to tip water over it but the bit I tried was ok!!! Price was reasonable for the area, toilet was a bit ropey, reminded me of European toilets of days past!! Worth it if you want a cheap bite to eat.

We visited Burano as a part of an organised tour. We had not too much time to visit the island so we stopped there for a quick bite before leave the island. We were easy: ordered a pizza diavola and a fried fish plate. The food was ok. Nothing special but we didn't expect much because like I said, we wanted something quick and we stopped there because it was convenient. Then we go to the staff: it was two girls waiting the terrace. The fish plate arrived first and after couple of minutes waiting for the pizza, I asked to one of the waitress if she could bring it as I thought they maybe understood we wanted to share the food in 2 courses, and she just shout to me "Give me a minute will you??!" with a dirty look and from 3 tables away, making everyone around to look at us. I just asked for the pizza because I wanted to be sure it wasn't a misunderstanding and we were in a rush. I wouldn't have a problem to wait couple of more minutes for it, but they should know that the food has to be served at the same time to the whole table or at least, advice that is coming in few minutes. If we wouldn't be in a rush, we would refuse to eat and leave because it was a lack of respect what she did. At some point, the other waitress had exactly the same behaviour with another table so apparently shouting customers is part of the menu in this place. And to top it all, filthy toilets which is not great, especially during COVID times. And if the toilets are filthy and every customer can see it, imagine the kitchen.

Great place for lunch.

Meal was one of the best I’ve had while visiting Venice. My friend and I wanted a small lunch so we shared a spaghetti with shellfish. It was made to perfection. A decent amount of clams, cockles, one teeny langoustine and some mussels. Price was reasonable. We had a spritz and a Hugo. Wait service was excellent. If you are visiting Burano (which you must do as a day trip from Venice) head immediately to Bar Sport.

To eat while passing on the way back to Venice

Once again a little rushed by the departure close to the boat, we ate a risotto quite quickly, drank a white beer and finished with a tiramisu, all for 81 euros for 3; acceptable quality, little space at the end of the parasol, a little in the sun so not ideal but helpful staff. Nothing memorable. There must be better but no time to finesse :-)

When I went there, the restaurant was full but my pizzas came after a very short time which was astonishing! I really love how it is also a bar. They have a Juventus Del Piero shirt pinned on the wall as they are huge football fans! This restaurant was one of my favourites in Burano. Very friendly place. The pizzas are amazing even though they are a bit too salty. The prices are ok, I will definitely come back in the future!

I chose this restaurant because of its "view", I got a table overlooking the plaza and a colorful corner with cool architecture. The menu had a large selection including vegetarian options. Enjoyed my pizza and left very full

Very kind and helpful, they found us a table inside, without reservation! Quick order with very kind waitress. Generous dishes, masterfully prepared, the cliff was excellent, and the cut of fresh tuna, as well. Needless to say, the dessert was also great. I count as normal.

Great food, great place to enjoy outside lunch

Amazing place for a nice lunch in the sun. Inside of the restaurant is very nice, too!! Stopped there for lunch when visiting Burano (and Murano). Pizza was amazing so was the fish soup and the fish dish. Very friendly service and a great spot to enjoy a glass of wine and watch the world go by.

Despite a day full of people, they immediately found a place for two inside. Air conditioning so yes I was fine. Good pizza, ice cream dessert recommended by the deserving waitress! To try! Good staff, friendly and fast. To visit. Well done.
