The atmosphere is lively but unfortunately it doesn't open until 7pm. I enjoyed the lemonade as well as the pasta with mushrooms. When I went up to the cash to pay for my dinner, the owner wasn't pleased that I was paying with a twenty...dollar bill. He said he didn't have change since it was early in the evening. Why don't businesses know enough to have a float with change even before the doors open for dinner? It was akin to dealing with taxi cabs and beach umbrella vendors. NO CHANGE!More

Tonight is our third visit here in 4 nights. Lots of other choices but the vibe here is excellent. Great food, fresh and tasty. Tuna tartare is insanely delicious, salad generous and tasty and pizza as good as any we’ve had in Italy or North...America. All round amazing spot that you will return to. The first night we had the mojito, the gnocchi 4 quesos and the queso pizza with some cheesecake and it was SO GOOD that we went tonight for more ; maracuya passion cocktails, italian entree and vegetarian pizza and buona pizza ; EXCELLENT. It is really tough to find a decent pizza in South America (even if you've been travelling for months). But somehow the owner of Los Orishas who happens to be italian, made it to Ayampe.... and the pizza was one of the bnest we had...in a long time. Fresh rocket salad and mushrooms on top, real mozzarella (which is had to find here). The price is fair (8 to 14 USD / pizza, depending on the toppings). For one Dollar more you can have your pizza in a takeaway box. I like that they try to reduce garbage in that way.More

Visited at the end of April on a Saturday night. As we walked in, the gentleman, possibly the owner, told us (in English) that they had no pasta, pizza only. My husband & I shared a veggie pizza. Menu was written on a big chalkboard....We shared a large beer or had 2 small beers, can't remember. Total cost was $12 or $13. Left a few extra $.
