We were on our way to the airport from Parma and found Stella D'Oro on the via Michelin website. Upon arrival we were taken aback by how beautifully designed the building was. We ordered one dish to share to begin and 2 pasta dishes to come after. The "uovo poche" which was intended to come as our starter to share... More

We ended up in this place while driving south on A14, it's just about 10 minutes off the Autostrada. We had no idea it was such a high end place and at the beginning we were a little worried because our 8 months baby did not fit in the contest at all. However she decided to gives us a good... More

Superlative wine list! Creative local cuisine with outstanding quality and terrific taste. Not a budget restaurant but money well spent. Chef friendly and supportive in guiding through the menu.

This was a last minute recommendation by our new friends at Tomasetti Family Winery in San Croce. They knew and called the owner, Marco on our behalf and he happily welcomed us into his restaurant which felt more like his home. Only later did we read the reviews and realize he'd received a michelin star as recent as 2012. We... More

We know that having Michelin star in Italy doesn't always mean that place is exceptional, sometimes we thought that Michelin inspectors just gave the star some time ago and forgot to reevaluate the pace from time to time. It wasn't the case here. First thing we noticed when we came to the place - there NO sign that they have... More

My husband and I have been to this restaurant numerous times and it is always amazing to experience the innovative, creative techniques that are used in the dishes that are presented. Recently, we were there for lunch on a Saturday and our meal began with an "amuse-bouche" served in a lovely tall coupe glass. It consisted of warm pureed zucchine... More

I travel a lot for work, I eat in a lot of places, I am a foodie and still this is definitely one of the best (if not the best) place I've been. It's really easy to judge an excellent place like this one. Here everything comes easy, from the warm and polite welcome to the friendly but never invasive... More

We have not got it finally if it has a Michelin star or it used to, but food in this place is really special. It is obviously runned by hi-pro chef. Dishes are complex and very tasty, menu is various and fancy. Wine-list is huge and covers whole Italy, all sorts of grape and different seasons. French list is also... More
