Coffee was great, staff were friendly.

A little background music wouldn't have gone astray. I found it to be a very vanilla atmosphere, probably reflective of the area the cafe is in. We ordered eggs Montreal. After a 40 minute wait, I went to see what had happened to our order, it arrived at our table five minutes later. The meal was nicely presented and was tasty enough. Two faults worth mentioning other than the long wait are that the poached eggs were near cold in the middle and my plate had the dried remnants of the last person's meal stuck hard in the little grooves. I only ate it because we were starving by the time our meals arrived! I won't be going back sorry.

Wish cafe for a Sunday lunch

Excellent coffee and very accommodating for vegan food

Came here for breakfast with my parents and was pleasantly surprised. They had coconut milk and the coffee was smooth and great. The vegan breakfast was delicious, they swapped out the hash brown and put capsicum in. The relish was amazing and in combination with the homemade bread and everything else. P.S my step dad said best omelette he’s had. Highly recommend !

Vegan breakfast = bagged salad

Vegan breakfast - more like a salad made up of tomatoes, bitter spinach, bagged salad with more spinach in it, semi cooked mushrooms and a quarter of avocado. The toast and dips were the only redeeming quality. Not worth $26 at all. It doesn’t take much to produce a decent vegan breakfast - try checking out what UK cafes offer. One day, I will get decent meal in this country. One day!

Favorite breakfast cafe

The smooslie bowl here is incredible, definitely my favorite breakfast meal around😍 I also love the cabinet food, the bliss balls are like a little dessert in your mouth. I come here at least once a month and always leave satisfied

Delicious coffee

My partner and I got coffees and they were delicious! Service friendly, inviting cafe and there’s free wifi and plugs to charge up. Had an easy to read breakfast and lunch menu as well.

Fantastic food, excellent service

I have never had a bad meal here. I agonise every time over what to have as it's all so delicious. "One of everything" might be a bit of a push, but it's certainly tempting. The most wonderful, friendly service, too.

Superb local cafe

Very good coffee. Very friendly service and most servers are regulars. They operate a frequent flyer card system. Great choice of counter food and a range of good cooked options. This place is your dream local cafe times two; because of that it's almost always busy. We moved here and discovered this place within walking distance and it's one of the joys of living out here. They also sell home-baked bread, buttermilk or whole grain, both as good as you can find anywhere, and ground coffee.

Amazing Coffee with a side of smiley Kiwi hospitality

Absolutely stoked to have founds this little place, tucked away in Whitby shops. Would never have dreamed of discovering such an amazing released spot for coffee and a chat - can't wait to enjoy many more coffees here, try out more from the menu, and just relax and chill with friends/family - already planning our next visit. Loved seeing the Kiwi wait staff doing our country proud with pleasant efficient service, and smiles all around - you guys do a great job!
