This is a little gem. If you are in the area you must go. Great food, very friendly staff and great service. Dogs are also allowed.

Just loved everything about it and great choice of lunch options. We only had toasted tea cake but it was really nice.
Firstly I’d like to add how they have a great social distancing policy in place. The owners are super friendly and make you feel very welcome. We had a lovely freshly made Devon cream tea in a beautiful little private area in the garden. The...service was fast and friendly and we didn’t feel hurried at all. A real hidden gem and definitely worth a visitMore
This is one of my favourite tea rooms: once you go through the small, traditional tea room and out in the garden you find yourself in the most beautiful walled garden. Surrounded by beautiful plants and flowers you really feel like you are in a...secret garden: it’s peaceful and time seems to stop for a while whilst you are there enjoying the tasty, freshly prepared food. Cream teas, cakes and fresh ice cream are all delicious! The savoury dishes seemed tasty and of a good size too. If you are in the area you must try it - it doesn’t look special from the front but it is surprisingly beautiful at the back. I would recommend it!More
We have just returned from a long weekend in Devon post lockdown. This is a great place to visit, the garden has around 10 tables, each in its own separate ‘nook’ so no worries about being too close to another table. The food was very...good, and the staff were very friendly. Prices are very reasonable, 2x coffees, scones and a large slice of cake was around £9 and 4x proper take away meals less than £20. I Thoroughly recommend to The Walled Garden, both eat in and take away.More
Attended a lovely private function birthday party. The food was generous, tasty & well presented. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere very welcoming and relaxed.
We love visiting here, and regularly drive out from Exeter. They are dog friendly, which is a huge plus for us. The food is very reasonably priced, and the service is always friendly. They do have seasonal opening times, so would advise checking before you...visit. The location is lovely and peaceful, with lots of hidden corners to sit in the garden. A really lovely hidden gem and definitely worth a visit.More
Good food , great service, in a lovely village. They have gluten free options too. Generous portion sizes and a very pleasant helpful waitress. we will be back.
Really charming. Great basic and hearty menu . Extensive cakes available but not sure if Home made . I had the toasted tea cake and it was lovely. Friends enjoyed toasty and salad which were all good . Good prices pleasant service nothing not to...like !More
This really is the quintessential place for English Cream Tea, and pleasant conversation, dreamy afternoons, in sunshine with the buzz of bees and bird song, beautiful. Other food is available of course from light sandwiches to cooked food. It really is a wonderful place to...visit, it will take you back in time! Enjoy!More
