Easy to drive past, and very quiet when we visited, but this is a handsome pub with gastro-pub , minimalist overtones. It could be a little cosier or more interesting to the eye- maybe a picture or two or a few artifacts around the place?The...More

My husband and I had never visited The Wheelwright before but thought we'd give it a go. We weren't disappointed - we were given a warm welcome, lovely food, service was great. We'd definitely be visiting again.

Definitely dog-friendly. Been here twice over a period of 3 years. Staff petted our two dogs and gave them dog biscuits.
