I got a deal on Groupon for this cafe, had never heard of it but it was a good deal so thought we would give it a go. I think if you are a local it could be more of a good place for you...but we live in Shellharbour, this is a 25 minute drive to this cafe & a bit of a nightmare to get to so for me not worth the drive for a return visit when there are plenty of other cafes closer to home- that’s not their fault though 😂 The staff are great, friendly and service was quick The location on the actual street isn’t great as it’s directly opposite a busy train station and bus terminal so I think this cafe is great if you are on the move and want a quick snack but not somewhere I personally would go for a nice meal out like I was expecting The food- we both got pancakes When they came out they looks pretty fab The pancakes themselves were pink, there was ice cream, normal cream, chia seeds, banana, strawberries, kiwi fruit, maple syrup and on top was fairy floss. It sounds pretty fab but unfortunately it was all just too much, I’m pretty sure the pancakes were flavoured and were just dense and unpleasant unfortunately, couldn’t even taste the maple syrup there was just so much going on. I think if you were like 10 years old this would be amazing but, as an adult it just doesn’t work, the pancakes were dense and chewy, it just needed to be 3 well done pancakes with maple syrup and some strawberries for me but each to their own. Unfortunately ours was not great but I have seen so many great reviews so who knows we must have just been unlucky that day 😂 They have some pretty good items on their lunch menu so if you go, just don’t bother with the pancakes 😂More

We gave these guys a try after buying Groupon voucher. These owners understand the value of customer service, we were made welcome and received undivided attention. The service was polite, friendly and honest. We ordered from the breakfast/lunch menu and requested toast in lieu of...a bun, not a problem for them. The coffees were in generous cups, hot and just the way we like. The Il Pozzo breaky stacks were tasty and nicely presented. These guys should have queues out thd door. Give them a try. In Porter Street, just west of the North Gong Train station.More

I was very impressed with the variety and different selection of food! Really enjoyed the coffee. My kids are normally fussy, I was very impressed they finished everything on their plate. I really loved the outdoor space, nice and shaded. The staff are very friendly...and helpful. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back. Also handy for those catching a train or getting off to pick up a coffee on the go.More

I'm a regular at il Pozzo. Breakfast and lunch menus are great. Their schnitty is a mile in front of others nearby. Its all in the crumbs. Service is great. The garden table area is a great chill zone.
