We visited on a Wednesday and decided on the 600g spare rib special to share for R150. Seriously the BEST ribs I've ever tasted. The service was very good, the ambiance and setting also superb. Really enjoyed our evening out!

We popped in for a delightful and tasty lunch, served promptly and a chat with the owners wife. A lovely local bottle of wine (they seem to only support only the nearby wine farms) accompanied our meals. We decided to share the roast vegetable salad...More

My curry was tasty and my sister loved her salad. Congenial service in a relaxed atmosphere where one can listen to wine farmers discussing their ups, downs and wines.

Lunch stop over conviently situated next to R43 and close to the R46 intersection. Pleasant atmosphere with great food and even better cuppachinos play area for kids and refreshing pool. Great mountain view friendly staff with brisk service. Recommended stop over.

We doubled back here after finding Die Tolhuis closed and wow! Unbelievably glad that we did. Breathtaking scenery (we enjoyed our food outside) and friendly service. One meal was missing it's bacon but this was fixed by our waiter and we thoroughly enjoyed our food.

The Harvest Table Bistro in the original mill room pays homage to this fertile valley’s proud fruit growing legacy. We combine fresh local produce and hearty peasant-style local dishes with influences from further afield, from Cameroon and Zimbabwe to France, Italy or Argentina, giving them a contemporary, modern twist. The Harvest Table is open daily from 08:00 to 17:00 and on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday evenings (other arrangements can be made). Breakfast is served until 11:30. On Sundays the bistro makes way for a full-blown buffet feast with tables groaning under delectable meat dishes, loads of local vegetables, salads and puddings. So be sure to reserve your table for this one, because it is already a firm favourite amongst locals! We are closed on Mondays, but breakfast will be available for hotel guests. A special harvest dish will be served in your room on the evenings that the restaurant is closed.
