Food was really good, decor romantic, service really good. We're able to have a conversation without a lot of noise.

Service a little long but worth the delay. Saturday nights may not be the appropriate night to go to this restaurant. Reservation is essential.
We were going to see a show so the restaurant suggested we choose from the table d'hôte. 3 of us had the New York steak and the meat was tough. It may be more of a pasta/pizza place.
Right in front of the Hôtel des Gouverneur in an vey well kept antique house. Simple good food, unpretentious and low prices. Was here on business and at night. Table d'hôte with soup, a nicely cooked salmon and lots of vegetables. A nice homemade cake for desert and all for $17. Awesome. Wine list is very short and not very... More

Great atmosphere and good food for lunches and dinners. The service is good and polite. A good variety of meals is offered of fastfood and typical french canadian food. A sure shot

It is just far enough away from the tourist main street to tempt you into thinking that they cater for locals. My wife and I ordered fillet steak... More
A friend and I had dinner at RESTAURANT FOUR À BOIS May 23, 2012. He had the lamb shank and couldn't stop raving about it. I had the scallops puff pastry in saffron - also very good. It's been about 10 years since I had lunch there . . . and still great!
