Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I arrived as a solo as the restaurant stopped serving. The maitre'd, Kevin, graciously let me dine because I was alone and had just arrived to QC. My server, Alexis, provided first rate attention. The wine, starter and main course were outstanding. The place inside...and out is beautiful. I plan to return before I depart QC.More

Went there tonight for our wedding anniversary. The service was very slow, we had to ask for more water three times, our server was nice but not very attentive, the table behind us were treated like royalty. We ordered the veal parmigiana, to share, the...veal was like shoe leather, it was so thin and tough, the cheese was extremely salty, I had three bites and couldn’t finish my very small portion. Although we were told there was no room to dine inside the restaurant, most of the tables were empty from the time we arrived until the time we left. We dined on the patio at the back, which was quite nice, for us, if you are not bothered by mosquitos. I would not recommend this restaurant.More

This restaurant is built around an old Quebec manor house. You can see the original small home with low ceilings and fireplace, and how so much space has been added around it, including terraces. We were surprised that an Italian restaurant would have a French...name but that is why. It is lit up beautifully at night and coming upon it all lit up is lovely. It seats many people and seems to be a neighbourhood hub. Staff was welcoming and friendly throughout the meal. We enjoyed the escargot, Veal Marsala and the Salmon with the best Risotto I’ve ever had. Tiramisu was delicious. We would return.More

The dishes are very expensive and very small with the excuse of the corona virus, everything, even a little cheese on the spaghetti they charge an additional fee of $ 2 !!! (I want to restaurants in this pandemic and it was not like that...at all) the menu is very limited I would not go back there!More

I ate here this evening and had the spaghetti gourmand and it was absolutely delicious! The service by Marie-Josee was top notch. Friendly and fast. The prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this spot.

From the outside the building looked like a wonderful place to eat. After entering, we were not disappointed! Very quaint, pleasant, comforting atmosphere! We skipped appetizers as a main course was all that was on our mind. I ordered the Mediterraneo which consisted of two...pasta dishes as a combination. Linguine with shrimps, shallots, garlic, cream and white wine and the other was pappardelle with seafood sauce. Both served on a single long rectangular plate in a simple fashion. Both were simply delicious! My partner ordered the Pasta Primavera. She was very pleased with her selection as well. Both were al dente and very well seasoned full of flavour. The Mediterraneo was deliciously flavourful! For desert, I selected the housemade Tiramisu . . . so delicious!More

After a day of walking Quebec City, i was looking for something closer to my BnB and found this quaint, Italian restaurant. The place is set back from the road, lovely decor inside, greeted at the door and what I can appreciate is the hostesses...can tell by my French that I am better off with an English menu. Food was great. I will post a picture of my spagetti dish covered in Mozza Cheese, as I didn't know and can't eat cheese, I was able to pull it off and reveal my spagetti underneath. Which was excellent. I would suggest going early, as it started getting busier around 6pm. My only small vice, was our waiter was really good at providing service up until we were done. I was hoping to get a dessert menu but it was roughly 10 minutes after our meal that we had not seen him. When he did come back, he offered the dessert menu but by then I was tired and want to call it a night. Overall, I liked this restaurant and can recommend it for supperMore

Went there to have a romantic dinner and it did the trick. We were sitting near a fire place and the ambiance was just right. The service was adequate. Only one thing, I think the price of the wine list is on the high side...of things. Pretty expensive for some bottle of wine. Other than that, I would go back there.More

While visiting Quebec, our hotel could not accommodate us for dinner so we visited Le manoir. Menu choice was excellent, service top notch and food was plentiful, well prepared and tasty. So much so, we returned for a second time the following evening.

Family of 4, Went there expecting a great meal. The place is stunning, beautiful. Straight from the get go we had high expectations. This restaurant was recommended by the hotel we stayed at. The waitress we had forgot a few things but it happens. Water....Booster seat after we asked etc. Where it shocked us is the quality of the food for an Italian restaurant/ pasta. The sauce tasted like catelli canned mix which I find tasted like cat food. My wife had a mix plate of meat sauce and Alfredo shrimp sauce. She had one bit out of it. Quality while they really don’t have it.. For us for it costed 115$ including kids meal.... we should have stayed and ate at the hotel for 60$ it would have been way better than what we had I don’t understand how this restaurant got so much good critics. Even the kids did not like their plate ! The deserts however are excellent!More
