Food was very tasty and prices were reasonable. Friendly staff. We were there in the off season so it wasn't very crowded and we had a nice visit with the waiter (owner?).

I wonder is it that some of these places feel that since they are in a tourist area that they don't have to try too hard? We paid $40 for a plate with a few slices of lamb & scant few pieces of veg. The place was a bit scruffy & grubby looking to be honest, but quite busy for... More

We stopped in for a drink and some appetizers, mostly to have some conversation and it was a good spot for that. Menu is very extensive and the appetizers we enjoyed, while tasty, were not cheap! Service was good though not overly friendly. When we were clearly done, we were encouraged to move on - it was polite and respectful... More

We dined quite early in this restaurant consequently we were the only diners apart from one other person. We wondered if perhaps we had made a mistake but even if we had the music was enough to keep us there - great choice of blues and rock. We ordered from the board outside and I had meatball casserole and my... More

We ate dinner here 26 September. We both chose the surf and turf. The meat was tender and cooked to perfection. It has been many years since either of us had eaten such a nice piece of meat. The seafood was also well cooked. Service was unobtrusive but efficient. As seems to be the case in Quebec City the price... More

We liked the look of the menu at this place so we decided to walk in and see if there was a table available. Turns our there was a table for 2 right inside the door, which turned to be nice since the front door was open and we enjoyed the fresh air. The service was a bit haphazard as... More

The food we ordered was very good, dessert excellent. Finished off with a couple of coffees. The bill was delivered and we noted an error. After waiting some time to pay we notified another waiter that the bill was incorrect. A third waiter came and looked at the error and left to print another bill. The correct bill finally arrived,... A rainy first night in Quebec and we committed the cardinal sin of going into the first place that looked decent. Never do this without checking TripAdvisor. We were seated in a drab upstairs room that bore little resemblance to the downstairs main room. Service was ok but he food was terrible. Starting with stale rolls that must have come... More

After reading the other reviews, I feel we must have hit this place on a bad night. Small restaurant, with excellent music provided by Joe. Ambiance was good, my husband had lamb and I had chicken - both were acceptable, just nothing special. The downside for us was the service - lots of older gentlemen who were having private conversations... More

Quaint little restaurant with a charming dining room. The food was average, but the ambiance and service made it a memorable experience.
