We were in the mood for Italian and this was near our auberge. We felt so fortunate to have happened upon a wonderful dinner experience. I say experience because we felt the intent of the owner as to how this evening should be. The food was really quite good; delicious calamari fritti, salmon dinner that included so many touches (Italian... More

My husband and I enjoyed a hearty Italian dinner here. We tend to look for places that are away from all the tourists, so our walk from Grand Allee led us here and it was a good find. We didn't have a reservation but they accommodated us in a corner table. The food was very good and not so unfriendly... More

This is a beautiful restaurant. The ambiance is nice, the table setting nice, the service good. I ordered a main entree with table d'hote. The soup was mediocre and had no garnish. The salad was overly drenched in oil and vinegar. And the main course had large scallops and large shrimp in it. The main entree had some broccoli and... More

We are very sorry thet your meal wasn't satisfactory. We try hard to satisfy our customers but sometimes it is hard without feedback from our patrons. We walked here from our hotel and had a very nice meal with wine and a pleasant atmosphere. This is a nice alternative (and less expensive) than the restaurants in the main part of the city. Our waiter was very attentive but not obtrusive. Soft music playing in the background. Food was superbly prepared.

I went to Ciccio's on a rainy Friday evening in August 2012 with a party of 7 including 3 kids aged 7, 5 and 2 years of age. The restaurant is just down the hill on Rue Claire-Fontaine from the National Theatre of Quebec, just off of Boul. Rene-Levesque. It's a steep hill but we managed to park on the... More

this reastaurant is a1 km walk from our hotel, the Marriot in Quebec City. The walk is through a nice area of town, not so touristy. you get the feeling that you are where the locals live, shop and work. We were rewarded with a great Italian meal. The salads were very good as was the pasta. We had the chefbchoice... More

This outstanding restaurant is a few blocks off the Grande Allée, but this allows for a relaxed dining experience. The food was by far the best we had in Québec, a city with many fine restaurants. The menu choices were creative and expertly prepared. The seafood cooked to perfection, excellent wine choices and friendly service.

We wish we had another night to dine here. after some disappointing meals we came upon positive reviews on trip advisor. We are so glad we chose Ciccio cafe. Hidden away, a perfect gem. Don't miss it. The table d' hote was an absolute bargain. The food was prepared to perfection, and with loving care. My main corse was shrimp... More

My wife and I tried Ciccio Cafe on a Monday night. We were concerned to be the only patrons, but that concern was eased by outstanding, attentive service. Our waiter fully explained the "Host Table", which is a five course menu at a very reasonable fixed price. We totally enjoyed the intricate flavors of each course and highly suggest that... More

Don't be put off by the outside or the dated interior. The food is absolutely delicious and you must try the creme brulee!
