Off the beaten track and a sense of intimacy (in good weather they have outside tables in front) and we enjoyed the many choices, all of which were good. Service was good.

We arrived without a reservation for lunch and found availability We ordered a fixed price menu, the steak frites. It was very large and on the tough side but cooked to perfection. The frites were not my favorite style. We ate just a very small...More

We discovered it was tough to find lunch for under $10 each in Old Quebec. But we paid $10-11 for a sandwich, which came with a small salad. Warning! Some places close in the afternoon (around 2 until 4, if we recall) so be careful...More

Small restaurant limited menu but high quality food. Excellent service and reasonably priced. Very popular restaurant so booking is recommended.

we ate here 2 times once for lunch and once for dinner and both times had the best food! Sophie is sweet waitress and the entire place is in a 1700 year old building with much of the walls showing and reminded us of Paris!

Cosy cafe with a relaxed atmosphere. Wife had French onion soup and salad - both delicious. I had steak frites with salad - a wonderful choice. Service was friendly and attentive. House wine was tasty and reasonably priced.

Definitely get reservations for this tiny place! The cassoulet is wonderful and quite filling. The house wine is excellent by the carafe, and a real bargain. The ceilings are low, however, so NBA players need to be careful entering or standing up too fast.
