We were exhausted from a morning at Carnival, so happy that we found this restaurant that had excellent reviews. We were greeting warmly, we all ate the brunch menu which was perfect! Happy to add this restaurant as one of our favourites in Quebec city!

It's worth walking just past the St. Jean gates from the Old City along rue St. Jean to this cozy and charming bistro. We stopped in mid-afternoon the first time and enjoyed the best French onion soup I've ever had along with some local beer and a delicious light beet salad. The ambience here is warm and inviting, modern and... More

Accidently found this place during our morning walk in search for a 'local' breakfast place. We were surprised to find 'gourmet' style of everyday dish. Loved the french toast with a twist of their homemade apple sauce (nothing like the US version!) and cheese sandwiched. Generous serving with a 'shot' of fruit smoothie. Really enjoyed the food!

The appetizer with the polenta was a must!!! Never had anything so creamy and tasty. We had burger and was the best I've ever had!! Wish we had more time to go back.

This restaurant on Rue St.-Jean was a real find. Went for brunch on Saturday and had the best eggs benedict. Beautifully cooked. Each plate included a smoothie, roasted potatoes and wonderful artisanal bread. Excellent coffee which was included with the brunch. Really excellent prompt service and good value. Can highly recommend.

Our last dinner in Quebec this trip was the Hobbit. We were here last year and enjoyed it. The staff has changed but the food and enjoyment has not. The duck pot pie and filet were excellent and the waiter's suggestions on wine were good. Well worth a return visit.

We decided to visit this restaurant because of all the nice reviews on trip adviser and because it was quite close to our hotel. We are so happy we went there! My husband ordered blood pudding and I took a steak, we also had a cheese plate for the appetizer and some Italian red wine. Everything we ordered was absolutely... More

My boyfriend and I had breakfast here and we are still raving about it a month later. We got the Assiette Brunch - 2 eggs, ham, bacon, sausage, beans, potato hashbrowns, and a little shot glass with a smoothie. Sounds simple, right? Well somehow they took a standard breakfast and made it divine. The atmosphere was cozy; we had a... More

Food was excellent. Service was great as well. Atmosphere was casual and relaxed Pricing is very good for the quality of food ($114 for a party of 4, with cocktails, 2 pints of beer and soda) The onion soup is outstanding. I tried the elk for the first time and I was blown away. Very tender and not gamy at... More
