Outside on a lovely Sunday afternoon in Limoilou, visited La Salsa and really enjoyed it. The lunch menu is very well priced at between $15 and $20 per person. Includes a starter and main which had a lot of options. The Tostada Le Carne was really good. The waitress was very nice and refilled our water a lot. I'd definetly... More

We sat outside one afternoon for lunch. It's fun to sit outside as the neighborhood is good for people watching. The server was very accommodating to my picky husband who doesn't even like Mexican food. He thought everything was delicious and would love to return. I'm ecstatic because I love Mexican food. I wouldn't call it authentic, but it is... More

This restaurant is located on 3rd Avenue in the Limoilou district. It is off the the tourist path but it is not too far and it is a hub where local people of the area go. I didn't check out the restaurant interior but it has a nice small terrace outside and I really enjoyed my meal. They have a... More

My husband and I ate here during our stay in Quebec City. We were staying in a condo near the restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. We each had the < dégustation> plate which we truly enjoyed. The service was friendly and efficient. The waitress was able to converse in English which was a plus... More

We almost felt in the kitchen of my haunt! This place is not like a restaurant, it is more like a mexican "Cantina", wich is not bad. The place is quite small, but the fodd taste greater. It.s ok for a "D'ya feel like having mexican tonight? Yup!"

You have to try the Pozole ! Sooo good ! Each mexican restaurant has their own take on it, but this one is particularly delicious ! The menu is tapas style, so you can taste a lot of different foods. We enjoyed everything we tasted on the menu (nachos, burritos, vegetarian black bean ''wrap'', guacamole and pozole !) Only down... More

We (a family of 4) ate here during a recent vacation break in Quebec City. This small restaurant is run by an energetic and very sympathique Salvadorian woman, but much of the food is Mexican. Food is neither real cheap nor expensive (at least compared to Montreal where you can find similar simple and good restaurants that cost less). As... More

What this little restaurant lacks in decor it more than makes up for in flavour! We make a point to eat here everytime we are in Quebec City. Service is always friendly, though sometimes slow. The food is always hot & flavourful - if you close your eyes you almost feel as though you are down south.

This little restaurant is in Limoilu, only about 5 minutes from the gates of Vieux Quebec. It is owned by a family originating from El Salvador that serves up Central American dishes. The prices are very reasonable, and the most fun is to mix and match several items such as Fajitas, Burritos, Tacos, etc to get a little taste of... More
