The food was without a doubt the best we ate in Quebec city. Fresh, delicious and the service was incomparable. Cusine of the region served in an intimate warm, cozy bistro setting. The service was attentive and sincere. If it were open more nights when we were on Quebec we would have absolutely gone back if there were reservations available.

The resto is slightly out of the way, but absolutely worth it! My friend and I chose several entrées because we wanted to taste as many different things as possible. Everything we had was an explosion of flavours - from the gnocchi to the pudding to the praline crème brûlé, nothing disappointed. Definitely the best place ate during our 3... More

We had a great meal here. We had the sweet bread and blood pudding as appetizers (15$ each) and elk cheek and guinea fowl as main entrees (29$ each). The foods are excellent, in particular the appetizers were extremely tasty. The place is Very simple, and the sign is inconspicuous. With the excellent food, they can expect to attract people.... We followed a recommendation to eat here - but weren't sure when we read the eccletic menu. But as soon as the food arrived we were thrilled with our choice. The foods was interesting, beautifully presented and delicious. The service was superb and very personal, making for a real treat of an evening. Definitely recommend

Excellent evening out together!! We walked from our hotel to this cozy little place. Friendly staff. The owner came over to speak with us personally. My husband had the fish special, which was like lobster ravioli-- but fancy and yummy. I had shrimp and sweet bread, which is really delicate veal in small balls--also delicious. Of course with light whipped... More

We enjoyed this restaurant so much. We met the owners, and admired their creativity and upbeat manner. The meals were excellent. Fresh ingredients. I had the best Italian red wine. They closed for vacation the next day and we were fortunate they hadn't closed already. The best meal we had in three weeks of travel. If you eat anywhere in... More

I had not realized that the menu concentrated so heavily on game, which I am not that familiar with, and in particular, a lot of meat and fish tartare. That said, the sweetbread appetizer was the best starter we encountered in our stay in Quebec. The rest of the meal was pleasant. The servers were quite cordial, and gave us... More

This restaurant was absolutely amazing. It is very small and close, and a tad noisy, but appears to be popular with foodie locals. The mushroom creme brûlée was interesting and quite tasty, but the main courses blew it away. The fois gras is super rich and smooth. The duck was some of the best I've ever tasted, also very rich.... More
