We just chanced in on this restaurant. It was our second night in Quebec City and we were staying close by and didn't feel like driving back into the Old City. The place was packed, we could see that as we walked by, and it seemed like people were having a great time. They were! So much so that we... More

We were a group of 12 for my aunt birthday. She wanted a "feast" à la Asterix for her birthday and she got just that. A big square table with platters of meat and potatoes. It was a great nkghe and the food was waaaay better than our 1st visit. They realised that you need to feed people good food... More

We went there for our daughter's graduation this past June. The service was great and friendly, the atmosphere with the musicians was joyous, but most of all there was the food. It was so unbelievably delicious and different from what one finds in other restaurants. We liked it so much that we returned there several times since then with friends... More

I absolutely love this place. The owners are great people and always present. The really maintain the medieval style from the food to the costumes to the old french accent. Their stews are awesome, great place for some hearty food especially in the winter. Plus you can get a mini-barrel of beer at your table! Singing and shouting are welcomed!

Fun time with a group of friends. Good atmosphere to have a few drinks with friends and feast on a meal. They have people playing music and it is not just a meal, it is an experience. I would suggest going with a group of friends. Food was good as well, but I found choices were limited, but still good!... More

Unusual approach, medieval food. Service is good, and in sync with the type of food. The night we've been there ther ewas a "story teller" performing, a few days before it was a "wizard". They entertain at the tables and it gives a very pleasing atmosphere. Food is very good and well adapted. Another plus, they have a parking in... More

This is a medieval restaurant. The design, the clothing of the waitress, the way they speak, the menu, and the way to call the waitress (hit the floor or call "Aubergiste") give you the impression that you are in a medieval inn from a movie. All the employees are very friendly and funny. The food is very good and served... More
