Home baked pastries, lunch fixins, coffee, tea. This is by far the best place to enjoy breakfast, lunch, or just stopping by for coffee. Sit at the communal tables or high top tables. Have some gelato. Just enjoy the aroma of the fresh baked goods and everything that goes along with it.

One of the reasons I traveled a very long distance to Quebec City was to have some good French crepes and enjoy a good French bakery. I enjoyed my gelato at the cafe, and then took home a large amount of baked items. Of course, I devoured most right away. Absolutely delicious! The service was terrific! The music didn't last... The decor is modern fast food style, but the baked goods are what you expect from French culture. The baked brioche was rich, flakey, just so good. We went here for breakfast four times in five days. Skip the breakfast sandwiches. McDonalds is better.

From the mouthwatering selection of pastries, delicious sandwiches, soups & great coffee you would really be missing a treat if you didn't go into Paillard's.

Amazing pastries and great breakfast sandwich (Croissant with egg, bacon and cheese with fruit cup and coffee). If you want to try Macarons like they have in France, this is the place to taste them.

Went to Quebec city for the weekend and had to try Pillard. Great cappuccino, delicious pastries and went back twice. Too bad we don't have this in Montreal. A man was playing the acordian which it was like I was in France. If you go to Quebec City you need to stop and have a pastry and espresso.

Good spot for a break, lot of pastries and good coffee. Lots of seating even with a school tour that arrive before we did.

We dropped by this place for a bite and were stunned by the array of pastries. It is a huge place with long tables and a constant queues of eager customers. But the lines move fast and the staff are extremely efficient. The pastries are delicious and they also dish out lovely sandwiches. A "must visit" place.

Thank nichinam
