Most excellent croissants. I tried both savoury and sweet along with a cafe latte. A lovely way to take a morning break while wandering the streets of Old Quebec.

Tried their famous chocolate croissants. Did not disappoint! All the other baked goods looked incredible! The place was totally packed when we arrived, but there was planting of seating room. Very friendly staff! Recommend!

Nice market setting. Good pastries. Great place to sit down and take a break or to grab lunch. Fresh soup & salads in cafeteria style.

My wife and I stayed in Quebec City over the may long weekend for three nights at a hotel just up the street from here. We ended up eating breakfast here two out of our three mornings as we loved the fresh baked goods. It was definitely a busy and bustling place but we could always find a spot to... More

Everything was excellent, from salads and sandwiches to pastries, bread and macarons, and a friendly, bi-lingual staff.

I had gone with a large group of people and everyone was satisfied with their sandwiches, salads and soups (one person even claimed that it was the best mushroom soup they had ever had!). Their bread is baked in house... More

We popped in one night looking for a quick dessert after dinner. We enjoyed some Macaroons and a custard filled cake. The food was good but the atmosphere was lacking. It felt kind of like a grammar school cafeteria and less like a top rated destination.

Well worth dropping in for a great espresso and fresh beautiful pastries. Lots of seating available however it's a very popular place, so be prepared to take your pastries to go !

We went to this bakery because it is mentioned frequently in Louise Penny's Inspector Gamache novel, "Bury Your Dead." I expected some small, very old-school French bakery, so I was surprised to find myself in a rather large, white-painted, Panera-style café. So much for quaint atmosphere. The food, however, is excellent, and the bread is very good, too. I wish... More
