We ordered the ham and cheese croissant, smoked salmon Panini, tomato soup, and a latte. The ham and cheese croissant was delicious and the tomato soup was fantastic. We walked 20 minutes to get to this bakery and it did not disappoint.

The pear and chocolate pastry was excellent. Very buttery with just the right amount of salt and sugar to enhance the flavors. The cappuccino was good as well, but not exceptional. They also had sandwiches with cheese melted on top that looked sinful, but I didn't try one. I guess I will have to go back. If you like pastry... More

Quebec City has wonderful bakeries! Croquembouche is another must visit place to add to your visit. A vegetarian pizza, meringues and creme brûlée were our choices. All selections were excellent. There is a huge selection of pastries to choose from as well as gelato. Wow!

Originally had planned on breakfast, but ended up elsewhere, so popped by for lunch. The tarte was to die for!!! Rather decadent with caramel sauce (not super thick like it generally seems to be elsewhere) and hazelnut bits, but oh so good. The asparagus cream soup was fairly gd, only knew of its existence upon seeing other patrons order it... More

Just the most amazing croissants and the freshest pastries we've ever had! Huge selection of sweeties, chocolates and traditional French pastry. Coffee was really good, too. Highly recommended!

My hubby and I were staying at the Best Western and decided we wanted something delicious and fresh baked for breakfast. We took a stroll and found this place. The smell was heavenly and there was so much to choose from. He chose something chocolately and filled with creme (great breakfast, right?). I chose an orange danish. It was absolutely... More

The name describes it as "something crunchy that crumbles in the mouth". It became a routine for us to visit this awesome bakery for its fresh breads and pastries for our breakfast during our stay in Quebec downtown. It was a short walk from our hotel and we were drawn by the sweet smells of their fresh products wafting through... More

Finally a proper croissant! I can't tell you how many places serve bad croissants. If you want to get the measure of a bakery just try a plain croissant. If they do it correctly, chances are their other items are good as well. We had a ham and cheese sandwich which was good as well.
