This small quaint trattoria is quite a gem serving authentic Italian cuisine. Soups like minestrone, chicken cappelletti, startacelli and homemade pastas. It also makes excellent pizzas in an authentic wood burning stove. The staff was very friendly.

The pizza was very traditional as well as the pasta! We will definitely be going back before we leave Montreal!

We weren't sure to enter cause it didn't look that nice from the outside, but once we got in and tried the pizza we loved it. 5 stars from us!

It doesn't t look like much . Old style Italian with red and white checkered table clothes. Pizza was very good price was a great value. 4 pizzas , a couple of appetizers and a bottle of wine for $100 Canadian taxes included.Service was quick good place to eat before an event at the bell center.

First of all they sat us at a table in the middle of the hall, all the time people were passing and hitting us. The attendant took our order and after more than 20 min the waitress approached and I said we ordered starter long time ago and nothing, she went to the kitchen and returned saying that nothing was... Looks like a old time Mom and Pop Italian eatery, straight out of the Godfather - I enjoyed the music selection and the atmosphere overall - Not modern or trendy, just old school, my style for sure. I had a wood fire pizza (Bacon, onion with a meat sauce) - That Pizza was one of the best i have ever... More

Saw this cute Italian restaurant while walking and stopped in for dinner. It was quaint and looked like a family run style place. We waited about 10 minutes before someone came over which was fine. We ordered, food came out quickly and was incredible! I had the gnocchi and my husband ordered the pizza. The flavor was great, pasta tasted... More

Awesome pizza! Went back for a second visit during our 5 day stay in Montreal. The decor is a little dated but the pizza makes up for it!

I come here probably once every few weeks and always get one of 2 things: the poncina pizza or the white sauce vongole linguini. They are delicious!!! Portions are big with very reasonable prices!

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighbourhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
