We were tired and the sidewalks were icy so we didn't care to venture too far from our hotel but wanted a quick dinner. You order at the counter here and the guys working were friendly and helpful. We each got a platter and they sure do pile on a lot of food. It was very tasty and pretty good... More

If you are in the mood for fast food Lebanese, this will work for you. I got the Kafta plate. More food that I could eat. This compares favorably to anything I would get in a full service restaurant in the Boston area. Great for lunch or a cheap or take out dinner.

Great food and portions are huge that you need to have it in a takeout container to take home. Really fresh and the owners are truly nice.

The food in Boustan is very good, especially for the price. The place is a bit small and not that comfortable, though they serve very fast. I would say is a great choice if you don't have much time to eat but want to have a good dish instead of junk fast food.

With 7$ I got one of their platters with falafel, veggies, hummus, a pita, salad, etc. I ate so much I could barely finish it. I love Lebanese food, and this is one of the best fast foods I ever tried. Well done.

The falafel was not so good, was put in microwave to warm up, the kebab was delicious and prices were very reasonable. It is in a great area to walk & was reasonable, pleasant walk from Square Phillipe hotel

Great place for a quick meal or take out. Good quality food and very cheap. Frequented by local young crowd.

It is. Busy restaurant for after hours. The food taste good if you are completely wasted. I do not understand how this hole in the wall got all those 5-star. I make make very very clear that I do not want no garlic in my sandwich and still got a sandwich full of garlic. The chicken shawrmeh taste like crackers,... More

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighbourhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
