Another good sushi restaurant with a large menu and good service. I frequent this place quite often and my experience there has always been a good one.

We always reserve chairs at the sushi bar, but Mikado has regular tables and a nice terrasse too. Last night, we opened with appetizers: mine, vegan, was a seaweed Kaisou salad with slivered Daikon, and it was delicious. I continued with vegetarian maki rolls (not rolled tightly enough, but good), and vegetarian Kamikaze. (Before going vegan, I loved the Kamikaze... More

The food, from the akedashi dofu to the sashimi to the maki was fresh and well prepared. The servers were calm and good-humored despite the rush of customers.

The creative and tasty makis - especially the Hokkaido and Emperor rolls and the tuna in Ponzu sauce are good here albeit a bit pricy compared to other sushi places in Montreal with a similar level of quality. On a quiet Tuesday evening when less that 25% of the seats... More

I ordered for take out about 10 different sushi selections for dinner with friends at our home. While the fish/sushi was fresh, they pretty much all tasted the same - BLAND! Even their spicy tuna and salmon rolls had no taste nor any evidence of spicy. For the price, it was overall a disappointment as I was hoping to offer... More

Had supper with friends , very cost and quiet restaurant on Monkland. We shared the Sushi , Sashimi and Mako dish. $30 for 2 , for a variety picked by the chef. Very good value and we could not finish there was so much. All pieces were very fresh and tasty as was the Miso soup. As a bonus the... More

Our family regularly enjoys the service and quality of food in your restaurant on Monkland avenue. Last night, my husband and I treated ourselves to some take out sushi . We were quite disappointed with the lack of choice in our sizeable order (see attached bill). My husband loves kamikaze rolls. The sushi chefs unfortunately did not take this into... More
