Location much better and comfortable than previous second floor location. Kabab’s are very good but curry lacking flavour. No appetizers as well, which is a must for Indian or any restaurant actually. Service was good. Overall: go if you are in mood for grill/kabab.
Went there recently with friends for dinner and enjoyed the experience. Not enough spice in the food but enough there keep me there. The price was good as well.

Great service, staff very helpful, attentive and professional. The garlic naan, biryani rice, veal karahi, eggplant and tandoori chicken all perfectly prepared and nicely seasoned. 786 Halal will be a regular stop when visiting Montreal !
It looks like nothing but this place offers very tasty food! Cheap (chicken plate is 8$) Service is fast, the staff is helpful and friendly. Recommendation: chicken tikka masala, butter naan, butter chicken
I first went to 786 about 13 years ago and I tried the Fish fry as well as the Dal mash and the Nan bread and the Raita that comes with it!!! In summer the mango lassi is wonderful! Desserts are good too but usually...More
