Very popular place so had to settle for a very early dining time. The restaurant serves a 7 course tasting menu using veggies as a focal point. Enjoyed all the courses which are impossible to remember but the tasting was pleasurable. The filet mignon was...extra tender cooked to perfection with sauces and killer green beans. Better yet the last 2 courses were desert. Decadent or what. Fantastic time eating and we will be back.More

This was probably the best dining experience I've ever had, and certainly the most creative. Each dish was a work of art. The cocktail we were served upon being seated was lovely and refreshing. We made our way through a delicious seven-course tasting meal. Despite...mine being made with vegan ingredients, nearly every course looked the same as my partner's, whose was not vegan. I highly recommend the wine pairing option. The wines were carefully selected and in most instances actually tasted better when paired with the food. For the main course, they chose a different wine for the meat dish than the vegan dish. This showed us that they were consciously taking the time to pair the proper wine with each dish, which was impressive and appreciated! We loved it and would highly recommend splurging on this really great dining experience.More

This has to be one if the top places to eat in Montreal- a real treat and gastronomic experience. Really, really enjoyed the whole evening… so different to most restaurants, however good, not in the same class for taste , variety, flavour combinations, within a...very warm welcoming ambience.More

This was the best gluten free (and sulphite free) meal I’ve ever had. The flavours were divine, the quality impeccable, the service so friendly and helpful. Just perfect!

Amazing, original, fresh food and attentive service. We have been there several times and they never disappoint. Yesterday it was the first time post-COVID and the team clearly put a lot of thought and work into their reopening menu. Simply breathtaking! One of our top...3 restaurants in Montreal. Bravo!More

Very enjoyable evening. Excellent tasting menu with creative dishes (although not every one in our party of 4 liked every dish-just personal tastes). Wine pairing hit the mark for most of the dishes.Service was friendly, prompt and attentive. They added a a candle for dessert...when the server overheard that someone in our party had their birthday- nice touch! Atmosphere was urban and modern with dark tones and a view into the kitchen. Covid protocols were followed. It was an expensive evening but we didn't feel ripped off.More

We tried this place recently for the first time and were not disappointed. It attracts mainly a local crowd and is in a popular, bustling part of the Mile End neighbourhood. The 5-course tasting menu is very interesting and well-executed. Be sure to ask for...the wine pairing!More

The food here is better than superb, and the service matches it. I go to Montreal as often as possible, and when I'm there I eat at Il Flottante as often as possible. Three nights in a row? No problem. The food is just that...good, and every bite is joyful!!More

I suggest calling them. They are planning to close for expansion/ renovation, but have not decided on a date yet. So yes, they are definitely open -- some friends were there a couple of days ago.
