I’m puzzled by the good reviews for this restaurant. I ordered their special soup with various beef meats and was disappointed. The broth was OK but nothing special. The rice noodles were a bit too soft. And the meat was really unremarkable – what’s the point to eat meat which is bad for environment, bad for health, and bad for... More

This restaurant is a very good choice for a quick, healthy Tonkinoise soup.We arrived at noon on a beautiful snowy day(today) to see that the restaurant was full ,except one table ,we sat down and a minute later the waiter separated our four person table into two tables for two for two other people.Service was quick,I wanted seafood noodle soup, but no... We have been coming here for many years. Its a small restaurant where you are quickly served. The pho is always tasty as their imperial roll and their rice rolls. They also do a brisk takeout.

This small restaurant is always packed! Everyone in the restaurant seems to be eating pho.. I usually take the rare brisket pho and it is consistently delicious! Other dishes also very good! In my opinion, it is an 'eat and leave' kind of restaurant. There is a high turnover rate... everything is fast however it does not take away from... More

All i need is a great broth, really. Five years ago, Pho Lien gave me that broth. Not today. Today' broth was not spicy, nor piquant, nor beefy. She was wet. I liked the brisket; the brisket was nice.

Our family of four - myself, hubby, and two girls aged 4 and 6 - had dinner here after a day of sight seeing. We are visiting from Toronto and the reviews from other travellers drew us here. We needed something fast and delicious and the pho here definitely fit the bill. The service was friendly, quick, and fast. The... More

We stopped there for dinner since the one next to it was closed. Food came fast but it was just OK. Well i would say the food reflects the price. I guess it depends what you order. We took the chicken with nuts which was average and be careful, those guys does not accept credit card or interact, ONLY CASH.

the food was simply excellent! we've ordered different types of rolls and soups and everything was delicious! the quality price ratio is amazing, the bill for 5 people with entrees was around 65 CAN$ excluding tips... The place looks average in a multi-ethnic neighborhood but don't be fooled with appearances ... I can't recommend it enough :-)

We got to try PHO. It's the way of the travelers' life. The reviews are mixed for pho lien. We wanted to see it for ourselves. The place open at 11 am. FYI BUN BO HUE (SPICY BEEF noodle is only served on weekend). Look at the menu before you go. The service was average. Your water refilled. The staffs... More

We stopped here for lunch while visiting St. Joseph's Oratory in Montreal. While both the service and food was good, finding a place to park was extremely difficult. I would recommend the Pho Ga, it was quite tasty.
