What a great evening!! The food is excellent, they made us wait a little before sat down but nothing to get crazy about and after that the service was almost percfect. We think the prices are a bit expensive but it's the kind of place where you expect it. We will return for sure.

I have been to this restaurant as a recommendation from friends and my very high expectations were exceeded. You have to try the Risotto au Foie Gras appetiser is to die for. I also took the magnet de canard for the main meal. Succulent! Finally the bombe for dessert is excellent. This is definitely a place I will go back... More

We came for a romantic dinner and they exceeded our expectations. We were looked after by Gabriel and he looked after getting a special wine for us that he knew we loved during an earlier visit. The food was decadent- the risotto and scallops were divine appetizers! Staff and the ambiance made this one of our best dining experiences. Will... More

First time in Montreal and this is already a must-return venue. All four of us sighed with contentment at the end of the meal! Staff fab (everyone we met was lovely and their knowledge of the menu and wine showed they really care) and wine list epic too (2007 Sancerre had us from the first vapour - one of six... More

This is the crown jewel of a Montreal group of restaurateur. Including this one they also have Le Serpent and Le Filet, this beeing probably their best one. Local meet in a very high dining environment. Their platting paired with their service alone is worth the detour

First class food, drinks and service. Any restaurant aspiring to be considered in the "must go" category could learn so much from Le Club. We were probably a bit under dressed (not used to -15C weather) so dressed for warmth and not show but it didn't matter a bit. The service was impeccable as was the food, pre-dinner cocktails and... Staying in Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)

Neighbourhood Profile
Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)
The historic centre of Montreal, Vieux-Port is home to some of the city's most antiquated buildings and picturesque streets. Along the waters of the St. Lawrence River, the bank of Old Port features museums, festivals, food stalls, and outdoor athletics, a celebrated part of the city that explodes into fireworks displays on warm summer nights. At its centre, street performers and artists compete with sprawling restaurant terraces for space along Jacques-Cartier Square, while the cobbled streets of Rue St. Paul and Rue Notre-Dame offer a reprieve of quiet galleries and atmospheric wine bars. Horse-drawn carriages are not an uncommon part of traffic, and the narrows they traverse are lined with boutiques, crêperies, and poutine shops enshrined in buildings of stone and wooden lattices. Here you can evoke Montreal's past with a traditional cooking lesson or historical tour, then enjoy its artistic present with live music and theatre.
