Place is located downtown close to university's and colleges, so food is cheap and area is busy, hence decline in service and food quality over the years. Don't be surprised to hear staff yelling to each other in Korean while visiting. Last time I was there to pick up food, wait staff made me get my order from the kitchen... More

We ordered 6 combos for the family and the food was pretty 'meh'. The general tao and the ginger beef were good, but the lemon chicken and chow mein were bland. The biggest problem is the combo was packed with rice, with less of the actual main dish than there should have been. The delivery was fast though!

Worst service we've ever had. We were told they don't accept credit cards so we pulled together $40 in cash. Bill was $37.70. We normally tip 20% but we had ordered tea which was never brought to us. The waitresses walk away while you're still talking as though they know what you're going to say. My husband had asked what... More

Wow again a little restaurant that looks pretty simple from the outside. But the food is great as the price.

It's bee a few years since I've been back here. This small area of Montreal over the last fifteen years has become a kind of second Chinatown for Montreal, and all along the street, you'll find many Asian restaurants ranging from Korean, to Chinese to Japanese all you can eat sushi, thronged by tourists, locals and students from nearby Concordia... This place is not super expensive, it is fast, and it is good. It is not the fine chinese cuisine but as a regular / everyday kind of restaurant it is pretty good. The dumplings are really good, the soups are good, the general Tao's chicken is excellent!!! They have the option of take out or eat in. It is... More

Hot and sour soup had little flavour.and was cold... WORST General Tao chicken ever. I make it a point to try the GT at every Szechuan restaurant I go to and the GT chicken at Wok Cafe was hands down the worst ever! The portion was huge but the sauce was atrocious. It tasted so much like vinegar it was... More

This was our best meal in Montreal for the amount of food you get at a great price point. Very extensive menu and they will make meals that’s not on the menu.

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighbourhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
