We enjoyed the 7 course tasting menu with wine at this highly rated Montreal establishment. The founding chef has received the Order of Canada for good reason. The staff is very attentive and engaged in providing a first class dining experience. The food was very interesting and well presented. The wines were very well matched to the individual courses. Although... More

I was at the Toqué for my birthday diner and had an exceptional experience. First the dining room, very confortable quite and relax ambiance... You feel well as soon as you enter. We selected the gastronomic menu with 7 courses. Each of them was original and delicious. We also go for the selection of wines and discovered original wines from... More

A wine buddy recommended this place and he was not wrong. Since we were still pretty full from having visited Schwartz's earlier in the afternoon, we elected for a-la-carte instead of the 7 course tasting menu. The food was excellent and so was the service. The wine list is an oenophile's dream, not only is the list very well curated... More

The ambience is very nice; tables nicely spaced, good lighting, comfortable all round. Wait staff were excellent. There was always someone watching to see if you needed something. The seven course tasting menu was good; they were able to accomodate different likes/dislikes. The serving sizes were appropriate for the number of courses; we were satisfied and not stuffed. The service... More

Nice venue . We ordered the 7 course tasting menu . The fois gras and the duck were the best of all. The courses should have been serve more close together because by the 5th course we were already satisfied. Overall really good but next time i would just order from the menu and not the tasting choice

We wanted to really spoil ourselves for our 20th Anniversary and after spending the evening for dinner at Toqué, we succeeded in doing so. The whole dining experience (Service, Food, Presentation, Ambiance, etc.) was outstanding. We had chosen Toqué knowing it has been Canada's finest a couple of times and remains one of the finest dining establishments in all of... More

We participated in the Montreal a table and was very impressed with the attentive staff and excellent food. It may be one of the most expensive restaurant but you must at least try it. We had the wine pairing with each course and was spot on. excellent evening with delicious food

What a wonderful place. Surprised that this does not have a Michelin star or two. Food is creative and very well balanced. The best of ingredients. Wine pairings were superb. And the service was very good. Highly recommended.

Just had dinner at Toque! I tried the tasting menu without foie gras or alcohol. It was 7 courses and included cod, scallops, squab, venison, sea urchin, and arctic char. It was fabulous. I didn't care for all of the courses but that was because some of the items were not to my taste , not because there was any... More

My husband and I dined at Toque in September. I had always heard great things about this restaurant and was excited for the opportunity to dine there while on our vacation to Montreal. We did the 7 course tasting menu with the wine pairing which was preceded by champagne and oysters. We had high expectations going in, and were extremely... More

---16 years ago Toque! opened featuring local produce: a showcase for Quebec's terroir and its suppliers. The ongoing contributions of these artisans is no less important today. We have them to thank for foie gras de canard or salicornia; lamb of heirloom vegetables; seafood or fine herbs. These tireless farmers, foragers and fishermen inspire Toque!'s cuisine, on which they bestow tastes, textures and natural aromas and unparalleled freshness.

Staying in Quartier International

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier International
Designed to connect and beautify unused space, today the Quartier International is like a transversal piece of modern art. The distinctive design flair is most apparent at its focal point, the Palais des Congres, a convention centre and retail space with a multi-coloured glass exterior and an equally bold interior motif. Outdoors too, the Quartier is friendly towards public art exhibits along its stylish, plotted city squares, with extra-wide sidewalks meant to encourage long strolls and shaded benches available for absorbing the atmosphere. Fresh air and promenades characterise the area, from the foliage of Victoria Square to the fountain of Place Jean-Paul Riopelle, while the restaurants along Rue Saint-Antonie Ouest and Metro stops modeled in the Parisian style give off European glamour.
