I visited the Q Saturday evening solo after a business expo and I must say it never disappoints! Great atmosphere, good vibe and pro service. Peter the owner suggested I start off with sashimi which I did, I was served by Majid and Gabriella and they were amazing. I ordered the sashimi tuna and it was 'wow', really flavorful, I... More

Amazing choices of top quality beef - and we had tuna tartare to die for as an app but the seafood (lobster and much more) choices looked just as good. Somewhat typical sides, but the heirloom baby potatoes smashed were delicious. If you can hold out for dessert, the white chocolate cheesecake covered in dark chocolate ganache was the best... More

If you want to impress your guest this is the place to bring them! Outstanding professional service and presentation. Aged beef selection of the highest quality - I had the veal chop and it was superb. Fresh oysters and exquisite cocktails. Bring a full wallet but you absolutely get what you pay for.

Went there over the weekend to start our March break with the kids. Our hotel immediately recommend this place as it was across the street. Reservation were at 8:15 but we got there a bit earlier because of the kids. They recieved us and accommodated us to sit down stairs in the Angry Lobster.....which was very gorgeous!! Service was exceptional... More

Came in for a couple of oysters but ended up staying for a meal and a few glasses of wine. Came into the restaurant and was seated right away with my friends. Place was packed, but managed to get the "best table in the house". Oysters were so fresh I could taste the sea. Next, we were spoiled with a... More

I'm calling this place out for what it is, overpriced and overrated. I went for dinner with my cousin as we had plans to attend the Ariana Grande concert at the bell centre afterwards. My cousin ordered the grilled salmon and it was dry and bland, and I ordered the salmon tartar it was terrible. Worst tartar I have ever... More

Thank you for sharing your story, yet if we can clarify a few details of the review to our readers...unfortunatley we do not have grilled salmon on the menu! We have a pan roasted Organic BC King Salmon that we serve with a melody of vegetables with a beurre blanc sauce, and drippings of white truffle oil. Our tartar is... More

We started our experience downstairs at the seafood bar. The bar is made of glass and is stuffed with ice, oysters and lobsters to view while you eat. The drinks are top notch and they make whatever you want, there is no specialty drink menu. We had a plate of raw white tuna with caviar with a martini. When our... More

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighbourhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
