Stopped in here for a light lunch and a drink and it was perfect! Very cool vegetarian oriented menu, you can't go wrong with anything on it the hardest part will be deciding. The cider was the perfect lunch time drink. The service was quick and friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable.

This is a very cool and chilled out bar. When it gets busy they seem to be under pressure serving food and drinks so the service is slow. Great interiors and chilled out tunes. The bathroom is a single room right in the middle of the restaurant. When it's busy you have to wait in line between two tables -... More

I enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was ok. They just need to improve on their service. It really is more of a bar I guess, I wouldn't consider it a restaurant but during my trip I enjoyed the place.

This is more like a bar rather than a restaurant. The food is okay, not great. I stopped in a few times and ordered a sandwich. If you're nearby and hungry okay, but don't go out of your way to make a special trip.

Love this place! Had my 50th birthday party there, The atmosphere is always fun. The food is very reasonably priced and quite good. The beer is very reasonably priced and very good. And there is always a show going on on the other side great place I recommend it to anyone.

Good sound in an intimate venue. Burritos were delicious. Not a place to go for wine. Friendly service.

Service mauvais et limite condescendant avec un gros biais pro anglo. Poor contempful service with a strong english speaking biais. Prices are average but I suspect watered down beer. No tap cider anymore but its on the menu for ages. Terasse is not so good with dirty ashtrays. A bar like many with a an STRONG minus for bad service.... More

good selection of beer on tap and bottle. doesn't really have a kitchen but the sandwiches are great - made fresh behind the bar/ counter. Good music. patio in back. and live music at night in the room next door. We love to spend a couple of relaxing hours here in the afternoon.

Huge and flavourful sandwiches. The menu is pretty basic and cafe style. Its also sorta self service, you order at the counter. But the food and wine are well priced. They also have 5a7 specials. This place is always busy. Fun place to go for good cheap food followed by the shows they have at the venue.

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colourful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
