Went with my wife, we had two cappuccino and some kind of chocolatine, everything was super good, and the service too. I recommend it, and I will go back.

Fabulous desserts, sandwiches and coffee. Our pork and Apple panini was delicious. Service was excellent and we will go back ( in fact, we did the next day). I can't wait until my next trip to Montreal.

Excellent all around. Pastries, turnovers and mini tartelettes were scrumptious. It was worth the trip. Everything was fresh. Don't have any particular favorite dessert. Choice is excellent and we arrived at around 6:00 p.m. and counters still well stocked. Only negative comment, servers are not really friendly.

Great service in French and English, fantastic variety of sweet and savoury delicacies to tempt customers. We chose to order a cherry clafoutis and a chocolate and almond croissant to go with our cafe au lait and hot chocolate. We were able to eat our delicious items in the seating area upstairs. Everything was excellent, the clafoutis was especially delicious... More

We had an apartment a few blocks away for five days and came by every morning. It was the last thing we did before leaving town. They have a very quiet room to eat up stairs. In addition to wonderful breakfast pastries and breads they also have decadent dessert tarts.

I absolutely fell in love with this bakery!!!!! It was so delicious. Service was excellent. They have upstairs very cute dining area that looks like stylish office/living room. They have bid windows that you can see chefs making pastries from upstairs which is super cool. It is French speaking area but we were able to speak in English and service... More

Came here for authentic french goods, and we were not let down. We had paninis to go, as well as a box of mini quiches, cookies, and pastries. We ate these treats all the way back to the states via car. The lady helping us spoke little English, so we just pointed at what we wanted. Merci!

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colourful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
