My wife and I went into the city to get my camera cleaned at Lozeau camera store. So while we had to kill some time we walked around St-Hubert street and ended up right across the street from the camera store. So we decided to go in for a quick cup of coffee and snack. If your in the area... More

We were at the large photo shop accross the street and I saw that nice Ice cream, Coffee and Grilled cheese place. WOW!. Menu with high quality ingredients, perfect Espresso and the BEST dark chocolate gelato. Friendly staff, clean, good music and NOT expensive ;). We'll be back there soon. Thank you again! Carol

We have found our new family ice cream shop just up the street! The flavours are original and all the ones we tried were fantastic. I particularly enjoyed the lavender... they also serve grilled cheeses made with local ingredients at a very reasonable price so we can't wait to give them a go as well!

Staying in Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie

Neighbourhood Profile
Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie
Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie has one of Canada's most prominent Italian communities, with Little Italy concentrated along the convivial bends of Saint-Lawrence Boulevard. Known for its fantastic bars and authentic Italian fare, the domain includes the Jean-Talon Market, the largest public market in North America. Open year-round, sunny months see fruit and vegetable stalls set up outside the main chalet, while blustery weather draws crowds indoors to meat and cheese sellers, spices and truffles stalls, and for regional delicacies such as rare Charlevoix lamb. While the market dictates what's fresh for local restaurateurs, visitors can please more than their palates, taking in the Renaissance architecture and frescos of Madonna della Difesa, the picturesque Rue Saint-Rominique with its cheerful homes and splendid gardens, or the ornamented thoroughfare of Plaza Saint-Hubert.
