Nice cosy restaurant with a limited menu, but enough choices to please everyone. The plates are well presented and the textures and flavors are wonderful. There is a chef's menu with 3 courses and a dessert included at a very reasonable price. But, we opted for a la carte. The waiter was fantastic and suggested that we take one cold... More

We were a group of 10 who tried the chef's table, in the kitchen. The food was excellent! Chef's table has a limited choice of 3 courses, but each one was artfully (and artistically) prepared. The menu changes often, but if it's available, the glazed piglet atop the squash pancake is a must.

I really enjoyed our meal there. The staff was friendly and the nature wine was very nice. I will definitely go back.

The good: - duck tartare - octopus - mousse de volaille was to die for and if not for being full we would have ordered more - poitrine de porcelet - mushroom risotto The average: - tuna tataki - oysters (daily special) that were quite flavourless The bad - service was on the verge of being rude, for example my... Pastaga is my husband favorite restaurant but for some reason we never had the chance to go there until his 38th birthday in October. I have to admit I understand now why he loves that restaurant so much. The food is devine and the quality of the service is admirable. The only downside are the chairs and the table but... More

We went to the restaurant during MTL à Table. We made a very good discovery, nice french cuisine. The service was perfect, good attention, really helpful to pick the good wine. Also, our glass of water were never empty. The food was excellent. Some of us had the Jerky Salmon which was delicious. For the main courses, the risotto was... More

The food is to die for. I had the chance to taste everything on the menu because we were a group of 15. Without exception everything was prepared to perfection. Good variety and they can accommodate food allergies without giving up taste!!! The service was friendly and very helpful, especially with the very long list of wines. 6 of which... More

Although the atmosphere was not amazing, the food was great, we were five and we shared a lot of the dishes, everything was very tasty .

Oh wow, the flavours, the staff, everything was superb. Our waiter, Felix, went through every item on the menu, translating into English and describing in detail how each dish was cooked. We were a party of 4 and every choice we made was a success. The flavours were wonderful, the presentation was as treat for the eyes. The highlight we're... More

So glad we found this spot. The food was fantastic. Fresh and bursting with flavour. The menu was in French only, but our wonderful server, spent 10 minutes translating it for us. It was impressive how well he knew the menu and he explained in great detail how each of the offerings were constructed. I had the Venison. Melt in... More

Staying in Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie

Neighbourhood Profile
Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie
Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie has one of Canada's most prominent Italian communities, with Little Italy concentrated along the convivial bends of Saint-Lawrence Boulevard. Known for its fantastic bars and authentic Italian fare, the domain includes the Jean-Talon Market, the largest public market in North America. Open year-round, sunny months see fruit and vegetable stalls set up outside the main chalet, while blustery weather draws crowds indoors to meat and cheese sellers, spices and truffles stalls, and for regional delicacies such as rare Charlevoix lamb. While the market dictates what's fresh for local restaurateurs, visitors can please more than their palates, taking in the Renaissance architecture and frescos of Madonna della Difesa, the picturesque Rue Saint-Rominique with its cheerful homes and splendid gardens, or the ornamented thoroughfare of Plaza Saint-Hubert.
